I can't believe Rafe is falling for Adam's lies. It is clear when Rafe gets too close Adam turns into a gay guy. Adam is too much of a bad guy for Rafe to waste his time on him. Rafe deserves way better.

Ashley is such a dumbass that it makes it makes Adam's story annoying. How does someone talk you into believing that you didn't have a miscarriage, she's totally gonna end up in the lonely bin when she gives birth to air.

I'm glad Rafe's role is getting better, this redundant story needs some hot gay spice!

I couldn't agree more! But I just hate Adam so much! His evil scheming has become just plain sick. I could go with that, but I cannot tolerate him using Rafe like this! Y&R has never had a gay s/l, and the first one they do is is nothing but a fake deception? Oh well. I hope the chemistry works. I guess Adam could actually fall for Rafe while deciving him. It's obvious that Adam does not really love Heather, despite what he says. He uses her and lies. Could Rafe be his true love and redeem him?

I'd love that twist for Adam to fall for Rafe. It might be happening, after Rafe and Adam had sex, Adam was quick to call Heather to "reaffirm" his manhood. But Rafe is seriously to good for Adam.

OMG, they had sex?? I didn't even think they kissed...I thought it was just a near kiss. I don't doubt what you said, I'm just very disappointed that they didn't show anything--not even a kiss! Not a good sign for how this story will go :(

Yeah, they had sex on today's episode. They didn't show them kissing or anything, they just showed them putting on and straightening their clothes.

Yes, thank you. I watched again a little while ago and saw that. I must have looked away the first time I watched and missed the millisecond when they were getting dressed. Real hot...not. Ridiculous, that manipulation sex could have made for a hot scene. It's really lame of Y&R, considering the sex scenes they give the straight couples. It's not like this is new, even on American TV. Y&R should be cutting-edge, not whimpy. I don't see a real need to "test the waters" on this.

Yeah it sucks. But look at Luke and Noah, they've been together for like 2 years and still haven't have a sex scene. Gay sex is always going to be implied rather than shown until some daytime show makes the leap.

I don't watch Luke and Noah (I've tried, but they bore me, seem stiff, and I didn't see any chemistry). I had no idea that they still haven't had a sex scene. Yikes. I'm really into the German, Spanish, British (and French and Israeli) soaps when it comes to gay story lines. I guess I was/am hoping that Y&R (which I've watched since I was a kid) will emulate them.

I hope that Rafe doesn't get manipulated like Heather. He was honestly the only real friend that Adam ever had. I knew something was going on when he took Colleen to Adam's birthday party, and Colleen made it very clear to J.T. and Victoria that they were NOT dating. I would like to see Rafe's story expand. It would be ground breaking for Y&R.

Adam was treated pretty harshly by the Newman family. When Victor returned to GC, he disinherited, and disowned Adam for hiring Brad Carlton. Jack persuaded him to frame him, but it backfired on him. He was sentenced to jail, but lost his sight. Victor is still cold to him, and Victoria, Nick, and Abby will get everything.

Wow, so I just caught up on all the Chris Engen (Adam) story!! I cannot believe it. I am truly disgusted, but oh well. It's his loss if he wants to walk away from the top-rated soap.

Anyway, I really hope that Rafe is on more after the new Adam starts on June 25th!! I miss seeing him on and I can't wait for this story to take off.

The actor playing Rafe did not quit in the middle of the taping, you have your story mixed up, the rumor is that the actor playing ADAM quit in the middle of taping because of a gay kiss between him and Rafe. But it is just that--a rumor.

Couple of questions which I hope someone can answer - why was Adam in prison and what caused him to lose his sight?

Adam was in prison because he forged his father Victor's journals, which he published as a book. As for his sight, he's not actually losing it, he's been injecting some chemical into his eyes that has given the appearance of blindness, so that no one will suspect him of messing with Ashley's mind in order to get back at Victor for having him arrested and rejecting him as a son.
