  • I like this, good format. Jim is insightful and askes good questions and lets the guy talk. Good stuff. Jim is a guy who I did not like years ago because I thought he was stuck in the toilet but he is a good egg.

  • @TommYYZ i'd help a guy stuck in a toilet. i'd only hate him if he didn't thank me at some point afterward

  • wow, i really had no idea directors have that little control over the final product...i now have a lot more respect for louis. He is such an eloquent and intelligent guy. love him <3

  • the pic of norton is disgusting

  • I challenge you to find any picture of that guy where he doesn't look Like Darth Wader without his helmet.

  • I own Pootietang on VHS, I love Louis CK.

    Pootietang is dogshit.

  • he surprisingly never mentions Chris Rock, i wonder what he thougt of the film....

  • louis is such a classy dude. you gotta respect him for taking some of those knocks over the years in his career. probably the smartest guy working in comedy right now.

  • This is perfect because when I saw the movie a couple years ago I thought it had hints that it could be amazingly funny, but it was brought down by a corny side and other shitty aspects, which was weird cause I know C.K. directed and he's one of if not the best comedic person out there. This makes so much sense to hear now. I wish I could see what he wanted it to be.

  • I loved pootie tang when I saw it in 2000 and I didn't even know of Louis CK (now one of my favorite comedians) at the time. I don't understand why that movie gets such a bad rap.

  • Wow this explains why Louis CK's stand up is amazing but "his" film pootietang is horrible. All Louis CK fans should see this.

  • @corbalt1 pootietang was hilarious!

  • I never thought in my wildest dreams I would hear a serious discussion regarding the the creative process of Pootie Tang.

  • I wish they didn't waste time talking about Pootie Tang....Louis' thoughts on standup comedy are so much more important and interesting.

  • @1844Freddy Sure it's more interesting and important if you're a comic, but for a filmmaker it's extremely valuable to hear about his experiences working in the industry, especially that analogy about pushing your hand into the dog's mouth. Goddamn...

  • thanks. i heard the commercial for this and wrote a note to myself, and then found out i wrote the wrong fucking day when i turned it on and heard Jim Breuer

  • Im sorry for him, I can imagine when someone takes your work and messes your life.

  • many thanks.

  • Awesome, thanks. And it's very recent too, Louis mentioned it's 2011. Where is this from by the way?

  • @mikestakeon It was on Rawdog.
