I commend Bob for refusing to sing the Star-Spangled Banner while our troops are in harm's way. They're under the threat of rockets and bombs every day, so they don't need to hear a song about them. Bob's first single on the Capitol label was the first rock genre Vietnam protest song ever, although it never charted outside the Detroit market. This year that single will be 40 years old. Keep on rockin' Uncle Bob! I'm singing along!
