Sounds Great! I have the same mics and multitrack recording software on my computer, but my current mixer only sends two stereo channels. Would I be able to get a separate track from each mic using this mixers USB system? Thanks
hey man. I subbed to your videos. I recently purchased BOTH of these items (coincidence, eh?) and I was wondering how you set up the mixer's settings. Your drums sound BEAUTIFUL, and mine are shit. Could you please upload a new video showing these settings? Thanks :-)
Good sound quality. How hard was it to use Audacity with your x2442usb board? I'm about to try tonight for the first time recording using my x2442usb board... I've been using it only for monitoring, so I can hear myself clearly, but haven't hooked anything up to a computer yet. Is Audacity easy to use? With all of those inputs, do you have 7 controllers on the computer? Just very curious, as I'm about to try in a few hours tonight to do the same thing.
I am thinking about purchasing these drum mics, but I was concerned with the mic clamps. Do they seem to be sturdy or do you feel they will break easily? Thanks!
If you plan on taking them off a lot and doing gigs, then you might want to purchase the tour set. It cost a little more but it's worth. As for the stage set I own, I feel they are sturdy enough for what i use them. I only use them to do drum covers, so they're never moved since the date I installed them.
@SpidermanPlaysTama Thanks for the feedback! I purchased these and they just arrived today. I just put them on the drums and I think the clamps are sturdy enough for my uses. Thanks again!
I love the mics, they're sturdy and sound great. The mixer is also good, but you'll need a audio interface with 8 channels if you're looking to add effects to each mic post recording. what you hear in my videos is the mixers two channel stereo mix to the computer. It's good for now, but i intend to buy the interface later because i will be doing my own songs in the near future.
Hey there...:) may i ask what type of mics are these? thanks in advance-

Did you use compressors or the gate effect when mixing the drum kit?

I am looking at purchasing this system. Any thoughts pros or cons? How about the mixer?
