Nice to see other folks with the same interest in doing 16mm outdoor theaters as well. I have been doing the backyard cinema thing for about 15 years now and just got a complete print of "House on Haunted Hill" that I will be showing it for the kids.
I had seen that print about a year ago on some of the film sites, Not sure if it's the exact print I saw or not. Nice screen name, Haunted Mansion is one of my all time favorite Disney rides. I'd love to do a more permanent setup one day, I planed on using "Speaker Rocks" That are weather proof & an outdoor screen or making my own outdoor screen.
VERY COOL..i I also have been having backyard 16mm shows for the past several years. A strong storm with high winds took down a larget portion of my screen and hope to rebuild next spring. I love the scope lens. I'm using 2 Elmo 16ALs. I just wish I had scope for them. I noticed the MIB trailer is the same one I have, but mine is only a flat print. It's so cool to see other people who share the same love of 16mm!!
That's really cool. I have been showing 16mm feature films in my backyard for about the past 4 years. We recently had a storm with high winds and took most of my screen down. I hope to rebuild it next spring. What model Projector are you using in this clip? I use two Elmo 16ALs. I only wish I had scope lense on them like I see you have on yours.
I also have the same trailer (Men In Black) that you were showing, but it's not scope. It's so cool to see other people who share this same love.
Not too many people pass by where I live now, Where I use to live before I moved was a pretty busy street, I would show movies in the back yard & a few people would stop & look, The domino's guy stopped in the middle of our street & watched for about 5 minutes.

Well the farther distance helps, But I also had a zoom lens attached to the standard lens. I believe it's a Filmovara lens.

That's pretty cool! Have you gotten many guests coming by just to look at it?
