I wouldn't say he's a wannabe to NeverShoutNever! but there are some parallels and similarities between the two. They are both either fans of the other or have the same musical influences. Either way, they're both solid musicians. If I were to describe We Should Whisper to someone, I would say that he sounds like NeverShoutNever!, mixed with Secondhand Serenade(We Should Whisper's harmonies remind of Secondhand Serenade), plus he has a little bit of soul in his voice, and uses some synth.
