i live in md near dc and last year we got dry rapped by snow i had 39 inches in my front yard . dam heat pump was buried, smoker was buried dog was buried. well just for a short time..lol,yeah a foot or less aint bad but when you gotta fool with 2 or more feet its a ball buster and a back breaker!!! it looks so nice and clean till it melts and turns black and nasty.lol
It becomes a pain in the ass when you plan a camping trip for June 7th and it snows the day before.... and when you go UP to your spot.... COVERED IN SNOW!
It swowed in New Orleans on Christmas Day in 2004. Enjoy it like you said,it will be gone soon. My family in Metairie are enjoying it. Snow is nice for the first day,but it tends to be a pain in the ass after a while.
we have snowball fights here boy. it snows a few times a year here in md.
