  • Juli3Juic3Box....if our ancient ancestors hadn't started eating meat their brains wouldn't have increased in size and versatility. Protein and fat!! Animals eat animals, do you condemn them? Humans are animals too. All of my pets eat some form of meat, including the ducks and chicks. No one is trying to force you to eat meat...leave us that do alone!

  • i just use my finger and get on the side where the legs arnt this dummy uses his rifle

  • my dad usually bring a long stick when hunting then pokes the eyelids if he is with some one he has the person hold the rifle and aim it at the appropraite place and has them fire if it is still alive to me that is the best way to go

  • My Hunting Partner V-Vet got cut bad when Deer jumped up hit him too stiches out on the hunt.

  • Nothing always dies with eyes wide open or shut. Never approach a wild animal you have wounded unless you are sure it is dead. Throwing rocks or a shot to the head with a handgun are good practice

  • Hello 240p.

  • You poked it in the eye! You are a real man now!

  • After I had a buck miss my "funsack" by a couple inches and hit a tree (after poking it), I decided to toss rocks at their head and see if they flinch from now on.

  • People that hunt are white trash , inbred, scumbags who scoop up road kill like possum and skank off the road and grill it in the good ole' back yard bbq, YEE-HAW!!!!!!

  • @Decimate92 Do you realize that man only exists because of hunting? Hunting is a process of nature, and yes we are animals too, thus we hunt.

The meat you eat was killed by someone, and if you don't eat meat because of your beliefs, that's just because your beliefs are flawed.

You're calling "white trash" but your display of ignorance is on par with "white trash". Care to explain your hypocrisy?

  • @Decimate92 Make this comment and then go back to eating your steak. I hunt and can assure you that these animals are treated 10000x better than chickens and pigs in factories. They leave them in cages so small they can't even move and juice them up with steroids and horrible food.

  • @Decimate92 youre an idiot. lol you mustve been raised in PETA appartment.

  • what gmtillman8 is trying to say is that the poke it to see if it is alive and in fact it is and startles you while your poking it with a rifle and the weapon gets discharged into the game again ,, i think the only argument he has is not to poke it with the gun use your walking stick or bipod or somethin

  • i live in Idaho! Finally one person from idaho

  • i dont let my deer suffer a slow death ... as soon as i hit it, i get to it and take its head off best way.

  • Rule #2 - Double Tap.

  • you shouldent poke it with gun!

  • Why would you poke it? Beer are like humans, when they die they die with their eyes open. But if their eyes are closed it means their not dead.

  • @mrpaintballfreak11 If you've ever walked up to an animal you thought was dead, without first checking, and had it launch itself at you in one last-ditch attempt to defend itself, you'd understand why it's important. Deer can still be very much alive lying with their eyes open, any animal can be. Always best to check, like this, to be sure, so you can finish it off, or in some cases, defend yourself. Especially important with bear hunting :P

  • *looks at title*

but... i dont want to break my ps3

  • stupid hunters

  • Why id this on here???????

  • @turkeycreek1610 so someone doesnt walk up to a deer and it gets up and charges them.

  • This is the dumbest video I have ever seen, Ive seen so many idiots walk up to a deer or elk and poke it with their gun to check if its dead, only to accidentally discharge their weapon and wind up with a bloody mess.

  • @gmtillman8 Whoa! Sounds to me like you should find some new hunting partners!

  • @HunterEducation I dont hunt with these idiots, I do my best to separate myself from those with low brain capacity, seeing as how hunting is a sport with guns. Id rather not get killed by someone who doesnt know what their doing.

  • @gmtillman8 Just thought you must have been hunting with these guys since you've seen so many of them accidentally discharge their weapons. Were you just watching them through your spotting scope?

  • @HunterEducation no he was trying to get a good shot n them but they wee moving around too much

  • @HunterEducation I agree with you HunterEducation! I personally call bullshit on gmtillman8. First of all if he has personally seen that many people do that, then I would guess he either hangs out with some idiots or he is just lying. Second, MOST hunters are pretty well educated and will keep their finger off the trigger when they do that.

  • @gmtillman8 LOL

  • @gmtillman8 - This is the dumbest comment I have ever read. From what you've written, this should be the most necessary video you have ever seen. Think about it for a second or two.

  • @gmtillman8 Why didn't they have thier saftey on?

  • @gmtillman8 yes but they are only idiots for having their finger on the trigger when they are poking the eye of their game.

  • At least it's not Expertvillage

  • Hah! I've seen this exact video in my hunter's education class! I know it's the same one not only because I recognize Clint (I've met him before), but also because I remember all the girls/women in the class were all queasy when he poked it's eye lol

Also this is an Idaho Hunter Ed video (says at the beginning), and that's where I am from.

  • Veggie farms around the world from USA, EUROPE,Australia Africa used to have millions and billions of animals but since the land became veggie land the animals on that land are extinct. Thanx peta and vegetarians for killing billions of animals! When peta comes to NAMIBIA to take pics of wild animals they have to do this on conservationist properties and trophy farms. If they visit the veggie farms they will go back home with hardly any pics of animals.

Peta and vegans are mass murderers!

  • me and my brother throu a huge log at it befor we get within 15 feet of it

  • @skater3572 lol

  • @ntrudr800 lol

  • Hunting is more "humane" than the forced slaughterhouses and such.

  • Uahoe

  • yeah...game hunting, is killing and stuffing..but hunting is better than farming animals and slaughter.....it's what men were made for (hunting)...and really....women should be doing most of the cleaning...they don't have to take the life (which is sad) but they will do the best in taking care, b/c they are clean themselves.

  • Hunting is exponentially better than the mass killing of farm raised animals because the deer for example, has a fighting chance to get away by the hunter missing or it knowing that the hunter is there. plus, there are strict regulations making sure that they arent over hunted.

  • why dont you hunt with cameras instead of bullets! (lol if i had a steak everytime i took a picture!) great video tip :D

  • u know how i make sure a deer is dead i shoot it o.O

  • darn, i was expecting the deer to have a nerve twitch and scare the crap out of the guy lol

  • Remember they never die with their eyes closed.

  • Remember they never died with thier eyes closed. The eye actually glazes over after they die, but it takes an expierenced hunter to see the change. I also used a branch of some type to touch the eye. I personally know a hunter who kill a 4 point buck and dragged it 200 yards to a road. Others gathered and talked about the deer and the hunter started to open the skin up starting at the neck with him holding the rack. The deer jumped up and put the antler through his hand and died Hospital visit!

  • i thaught it was gunna be a blooper from a tv show and the deer was gunna take off runnin

  • @bryce995 yer,i thaught the deer was gonna wake up when the guys gutting it

  • Ok guys i think its kinda obvious "juli3juic3box" is just a lil kid. Either that or some self-righteous teen who doesnt know how the food chain works.

  • shit when i read the title i thought the deer was gonna sudenly come back to life, but stilla helpful vid tho

  • @dylantromm lol you meen omnivore?

  • make sure to give them a good pokey eye to finish it off

  • @manvais If it moves when you touch its eye, you pull the trigger...

  • I was half expecting it to jump up and run away...

  • BAD EXAMPLE! If the animal gets up you will get hurt this way!

  • @wlopez24 If it moves when you touch its eye, you pull the trigger...

  • NEVER approach a downed animal from the front! If its only stunned and suddenly regains its senses, it will jump up and forward to escape. Guess what happens to the person who is standing in its way?

  • I was taught to never touch it with the gun, instead use a stick... (?)

I like the eye trick. Good advice

  • you must attached a form informing the deer or elk it is dead.then the deer or elk must reply in writing within 30 days stating it will intend on being eaten.

  • ewww im not touching it eye lol

  • wow... ...

  • It's called doubetap. A .22 into the brain case insures a dead animal. Every time.

  • I have a hard time reading these posts. If you can barely read and have grammar and spelling issues go back to your Dr Seuss book and practice. I have hunted for over 25 years now and this man is attempting to instruct you on the proper methods and procedures that are necessary under the law. Hats off to you sir - The regulations are similar here in New Brunswick and I see that you have posted this for education purposes. For all of you others that's edumacation.

  • The American Planes' Indian healthfully lived,

thousands+ of generations, upon the Buffalo.

Yes, there were wild legumes, tubers and leafy plants

along the paths of migration. Yet, this animal

the Buffalo- was the supreme provision

through those eons. Buffalo were the 'Wal-Mart' for

many tribes; Not one ounce of these magnificent beasts

went to waste! One could even make 'baloons' from

the bladders for the children to play, when provisions

were met. Man does not live on bread alone...

  • @bucketOshrimp Im with you LMAO!

  • This doesn't generally work on possums. Possums are comatose when they "play dead." When they wake up and you happen to be carrying them by the tail they will be pretty angry and try to bite you. If you get one that "faints" on you; it isn't dead, be sure to shoot it in the back of the skull to make sure.

  • hey! i remember this video

  • I swear to god i thought he was going to shoot his eye out.

  • @iDoThiinGzZ If it moved, thats what you would do...

  • Hope you enjoyed that deer HunterEducation! I know my culinary arts chef would love some fresh venison.

  • thanks for teach a right way to do it. Congratulations.

  • are you kidding me hippie hunting is fun and i love the meat on a deer and bear

  • @paintballtran there have been actually quite a few animals that have gone extinct from hunting but not recently there's much more control on what's shot and how much is shot nothing against hunting just saying

  • Good information & well presented , thanks >:]

  • there are more deer & wild turkeys now than when those euro-trash boat people got here. Funny,.... guy I worked with back in the 80s was going deer hunting for 1st time, asked if I had any advice for him.(since Id been deer hunting many times) I told him, if you do get a buck make damn sure its dead before you run up and grab it.... He did shoot a big buck ,but being a spaz ran up and jumped on its back. And it reared up and put its 13" tine through his thigh, very, very lucky.

  • or just walk up to the again and blast them in the brain, then they'll definately be dead.

  • way to give hunters a good name...hunters are ethical not ruthless

  • i dont need tags because im enrolled on a indian reservation and i also can hunt all year round

  • @josephhammer01

    I wouldn't brag about that.

  • ME 2 .and also grow hemp ..but thats old chool ... i just hunt .

  • People shouldn't hunt. Eating and killing animals is wrong. How is it a game to end something's life? You enjoy that? Well, you are very disturbed my friend. People like you are the reason animals go distinct. Because killing them is your "game".

  • I don't think this particular species is in any profound danger of going "distinct". Terrific use of logic, though.

  • u must no the regs in your area because up here in alberta were i live and hunt u must put the on the leg

  • @HunterEducation HAHAHA!!!

  • @HunterEducation lmfao

  • @HunterEducation HELL YEA AMERICA

  • At what point in human evolution, do you think, did it become wrong?

    Also, aren't plants alive?

  • no animal in the united states has ever gone extinct cause of hunting. i feed my family bu hunting.

  • They are actually better off today with hunters, we are the ones paying for the wild life protection services through buying the tags. The main problem today with the elk are all the damn wolves that are not even native to these lands!!!!! I am glad they are pushing for more wolf hunts!

  • Juli3Juic3Box...go eat some grass. U need ur veggies!

  • wow you're an idiot. Why is it better for someone to go to the store and buy meat that someone else killed than killing it yourself? And if you're a vegan, then you should know that plants are alive too... just because they don't have faces and don't move around doesn't make them any less alive. For any animal to live, something else has to die, that's how life works, so get off of your high horse.

  • @Juli3Juic3Box I can respect your opinion, but i also have an opinion. People eat meat, animals eat meat. It is so natural. Jesus ate fish, and he is the son of God (for those of us who are religious). Also, what is more cruel? Eating an animal after it lived its life to the fullest in the wild, or eating an animal that was never given a chance and fattened with so many disgusting things it would make you sick. Thanks. :)

  • @Juli3Juic3Box They go distinct?

  • @Juli3Juic3Box Fresh meat is good, yum!

  • @Juli3Juic3Box its not a game they are called game by hunters and who knows why

  • @Juli3Juic3Box wtf did u eat for dinner my friend???

  • @Juli3Juic3Box "distinct" = Epic fail buddy. Stick to carrot munching and stop watching instructional videos for hunters if it upsets you so much.

  • @Juli3Juic3Box "distinct" = Epic fail buddy. Stick to carrot munching and stop watching instructional videos for hunters if it upsets you so much.

  • @Juli3Juic3Box Umm... its Extinct and if you eat meat this is where it comes from you should be thanking these people so your the disturbed one MY FRIEND!

  • @Juli3Juic3Box

Are you an idiot? Seriously? Coyote kill cattle. Rabbits destroy crops. And the animals we hunt are in no danger of becoming "distict" (It's extinct by the way).

  • @Juli3Juic3Box look if people dont hunt then the animals will become over populated

  • @Juli3Juic3Box dude weve been hunting for 2000 years

  • @Juli3Juic3Box and you think send cattle to a slaughter house is any more humane??? at least this deer had a chance to get away... you really shouldnt comment on something you clearly know nothing about.

  • @Juli3Juic3Box Well if you don't agree you can always stop watching.

  • @Juli3Juic3Box "people shouldn"t hunt. Eating and killing animals is wrong". Expcept the human race has been killing and eating animals for thousands of years, so killing and eating other animals is not "wrong". And hunters are not the reason animals go "distinct". By the way, its "extinct" not "distinct".

  • @Juli3Juic3Box As long as the Hunter eats his prey and not killing for sport, there nothing wrong with that. The hunter should avoid hunting species that are endangered as well for humanities sake.

  • @FXThug well im not hunting now but when i get my shotgun im hunting for sport and to put food on the table my dad knew a guy that would make a list of names kill a deer and give it away he didnt like deer but he loved to hunt

  • @Juli3Juic3Box

Are you a vegan? If not, what you do by buying meat in a store is much more cruel than hunting for it. Hypocrite. Deer are not going "Distinct" any time soon, and they never will from hunting.

  • @Juli3Juic3Box i dont know if your a christian. its ok if your not, im not trying to force my religion on you. but if you are, you would know that god put animals on this earth for humans purposes. the bible says that god breathed into man and gave him spirit. then he created animals. animals are here for humans uses. now i agree that hunting them for game is wrong. but if your going to eat them, i dont see why huntiing them is bad. especiall if its overpopulated animal like a deer.

  • @TheSinginggod around where i live deer are always running around, i agree that they are overpopulated in some areas, i once saw a pack run across the street, my heart was about to break my ribs.

  • @Juli3Juic3Box why dont you get off your high horse.had people not killed animals then WE would be extinct.and i promise you that if you were in a kill or be killed situation you would "stoop" to our level and eat meat.

  • @Juli3Juic3Box People like you would die if their food wasn`t placed ever-so-conveniently in grocery stores with pretty labels. Alot of less-rich people depend on stocking their freezers with deer meat to get em through the winter.

  • @Juli3Juic3Box Why are you watching and commenting on hunting if you abhor it?

  • @Juli3Juic3Box Sometimes we have to do it to survive. And how can you say it's wrong? It's nature. I don't mean to offend or argue with you, so please don't send me insults or argue. I'm just questioning your judgement that's all.

  • @Juli3Juic3Box it is wrong if u kill an animal for pleasure or treat it cruelly. however if u kill an animal for provisions and survival then it is necessary. how then can u survive? i love animals so much and have not killed any, but if i need food in order to survive i would kill an animal

  • @littlenarutobreaker1 or if you wanted to end its suffering (eg miximatosis, rabbits)

  • @Juli3Juic3Box how are you to survive if you cant eat vegtables

  • @stooopiddogballs most vegiterians i know are on vitimin tablets, and most veggy food is "fotified". you can live on a vegiterian diet, but its expencive and to me you look sicker. same with meat. in genrel we need about 35%meat in our diet according to the poster in the hospital i stayed in. so generlly we need our 5 a day as well as our steak. hence the term "meat and 2 veg".

  • @Juli3Juic3Box If some animal aren't hunted the can get over populated and there habitat wont be able to support them and other specie and they will die. Disease might also so come in effect before that. Plus human are carnivores, we eat both meat and vegetables.

  • @dylantromm I think you mean omnivores.

  • @Juli3Juic3Box I really wish your ancestors hadnt eaten meat, cause that would mean you wouldnt be here....

  • @Juli3Juic3Box Oh come on juice box so you've never had a piece of chicken or a hamburger?

  • @Juli3Juic3Box Fail logic.

  • @Juli3Juic3Box I think you mean extinct and hunting is only wrong if you kill an animal for its hide or antlers and waste the rest of the body. Without hunting man would not have survived to this point. It may not be necessery to hunt now because of store bought meat, but if that is the source of meat that someone chooses it is not wrong, but it is their descision.

  • @Juli3Juic3Box Really, people shouldn't hunt? Why shouldn't a legitimate hunter hunt then? If you've ever eaten Venison, then your comments are flawed or any other meats for that matter.Meat is an essential part of the human diet, despite what vegans think.Taking high-powered rifles into Africa,America&Canada&hunting dangerous animals, only for fun& their skins for rugs is wrong,as the hunter isn't eating their prey,at all.Gordon Ramsey shot a deer for the meat only.He felt no enjoyment from it.

  • @Juli3Juic3Box Technically no, death is a part of life. Animals kill each other every day, because that's how most of them eat, and stay alive. So the "game" is survival.

  • @Juli3Juic3Box birds eat worms but you dont get angry with birds do you? its the circle of life. we're animals too. we're just a lot smarter.

  • @Juli3Juic3Box you need to get in touch with reality :P

  • @Juli3Juic3Box hey friend, 1. if animals werent meant for eating, god wouldnt of made them edible. 2. go look up distinct in the dictionary please.

  • @Juli3Juic3Box hey man there millions of millions of deer. were never goin to run out ranch owners usually dont let people take young deer. There is also seasons for the moms to have babys then more deer. if we didnt hunt we would be alive our ancesesters would die cause what would the eat.

  • @Juli3Juic3Box When I hunt, I don't think of it as a game, because it isn't. It isn't a sport either. It isn't any different from a butcher shooting a cow threw the head. A good hunter, is trained, and will, shoot the animal in a presice way so that it will die humainly and quickly. Then they will take the animal home and eat it. Just like you buy beef from a store and eat it. There are strict laws about how many deer are aloud to be shot each year. And fines if they aren't obeyed.

  • @Juli3Juic3Box first of all i think you mean Extinct not "distinct".you clearly know nothing about hunting if you think we just go out because we want to go and kill something. i go out for the meat. have you tried venison? its delicious man. when you see people smile and rejoyce after they've killed a deer, it doesnt mean they are happy that they have ended a life. I take it youve had a cheese burger before, well i could say its cruel to kill cows for food, but thats life take it or leave it.

  • @Juli3Juic3Box Eating other animals is the Circle of Life. We need meat to survive, and someone has to go out and get the meat. Eating cats and dogs is wrong, no so much elk, deer, bison and all those bovines. Deer aren't going extinct anytime soon my friend, if they were, they'd set up a conservation program. We're not as stupid and oblivious to the fact of extinct and what it can mean as we were years ago :)

  • @Juli3Juic3Box Its not a game. It is cheaper than buying half a cow from the butcher. Also they have what is called a draw, that gives out the tickets to hunters, Mainly because there is no other form of population control. I firmly believe in hunting because it feeds my family not because I enjoy killing.

  • @Juli3Juic3Box if our ancestors hadnt hunted, they would have starved. there were berries and plants that were edible, but they needed fat from animals to survive cold environments. they also needed the skins to shield themselves from the elements. they didnt have fabric. would you rather have had them all eat berries and freeze to death? hunting is a great experience if u respect the animal. a quick kill is painless and the hunter should be thankful for the animal giving its life.

  • @Juli3Juic3Box I do love how vegetarians are so proud of who they are like they are better than us that eat meat. You don't hear about me going around bragging because I have not had a vegetable in weeks.

  • @Juli3Juic3Box if everybody on earth was a vegetarian do you relize who overpopulated things would get. overpopulation means not enough food and several species would become extinct. which means everything could eventually die

  • phht if you soot it right then you wont have to wait trust me i shot in the heart at 182 yrds im 11 i think you can do that

  • i normally toss rocks or branches from a distance towards the head.

  • this is a good trick when you approach but waiting 15-30 mins before you approach is another that i always follow along with the nudgeing

  • yeah, my dad always made me wait 15-30 mins before even getting within 20feet. I always wondered why the hell he did that, until we walked up on a buck that wasn't dead yet, and we just about got our ass(s) kicked. We ended up cutting its wind pipe and ending the animals life with as little pain and suffering as possible.

  • i always like to get the neck cut wile the heart is still pumping a bit right after you kill the animal that drains all the blood out and you will have no blood in the meat

  • @winsorsadventures I like blood in my meat and how can you say "while the heart is still pumping a bit right after you kill it" ,that makes no sense, the heart stops after it's dead, that what makes it DEAD...get it!

  • @nycredneck Not necessarily. The nervous impulses to the internal organs continue for some time after the animal is dead. You can cut a chicken's head off and find its heart still beating when you gut it. The same with a rabbit. A bullet through the brain, and the heart still pumping. If you had ever hunted, killed and then dressed your kill, you would see this for yourself.

Try this: The next time you want meat for dinner; kill it yourself instead of buying it at the grocer.

  • why tag them?

  • the tag is the license for that animal.

  • because if you dont put the tag right after you kill it .and a game warden sees you hell give you a ticket....same with other game animal ...idk about bear tho ...

  • Its a law

  • law?

  • cause the government likes to keep track of the deer population

  • ...it's the law...

  • i thought you were supposed to make a loud noise, with a whistle or a air horn. found that out in a book once.

  • Yes, there are lots of "tricks" but if you think about it, if a touch to the eye gets no reaction (voluntary or involuntary) the animal is certainly dead.

  • Thank you!

  • @oldcountrypictures making noise might not be the greatest thing to do if other hunters are in the area. (they might not appreciate additional niosethat would scare game away.)

  • Agreed.

  • poke it in the eye...i never thought of that

  • i had a encounter with a deer while it was still alive it rammed it antler throug my chest my hunting friend called thhe hospital and i had my knife on my so i slit the deers throught the doctors had to take the deer into the ambulance toremove it its a miricale i am still alive today

  • Wow, that's an amazing story. Glad to hear you lived to tell it.

  • wow thats amazing! but seriously though thats the first thing u learn in a hunters safty class when u approch a shot deer,at least here in the midwest

  • Dude I hope you ate that deer, that would be fitting. Thank God your alive.

  • cool story hamismymeat
