Back in 96 when i first heard this record, those words just grab u and the tempo was simply tune to perfection.. its definitely rare.. time to embrace those moment , back in the hood , those old dayz with my hommie it would never fade, it would never would....love this shit man peace..
Mate this song is brilliant since it came out I fell in love with it. Does any one know the Crack fiend song don't know the name or who did it but same era they use to play it on PBS hip hop nights
I bought this disc when it was brand new back in '97 (I think). At the time I hadn't heard a single track on it, but how could you go wrong with Rza, Gza, Krs, Mobb Deep, Infamous Mobb, etc etc etc. It was the first time I had heard La The Darkman and was an instant fan. This is one of the best tracks on it, and probably the best Wyclef track (I'm not the worlds biggest clef fan). Hard to believe this came out on a major label. That could not happen today.

i got this album on tape :) (should be somewhere around...) i got a lot of tapes with hip hop made in the 90s and i still use some of them in my car which is a bit old :D ... thanks for uploading; this is one of my favourite tracks as well...
i'm gonna agree with the person who posted the video, its not a very well known song. sure we know the song, but i bet if you named "soul assasins" to anyone who "likes rap" they wouldnt have any idea about it
id say growing up this was deff an undergound group from where i'm from
I miss this CD my husband busted it up with my WuTang CD before we were married. He obviously has different musical taste than I and has a different idea of what is offensive in Gods eyes. Maybe I'll buy another copy!
@ktigger92 I don't blame him throwing this CD away. I owned it when it first came out. I threw it away myself after I realized its negative connotation. Even the deliberate "Soul Assassin" title speaks volumes of the misinformation that is being spread. Why would they want to assassinate souls? Really, ask it... I know why...
everyone packs a m16 i stay awake only to see nickodemous, i wana wake up from this dream, worked for the mobsters, live reality and dont get caught up in your fantasy.
have you never seen the image of someone holding up the "John 3:16"? "This is how we know what love is: Christ gave his life for us. We too, then, ought to give our lives for our brothers!"
still good? this record is at least 12 years old..
