i got my 700sps buckmaster in the 7mm rem mag caliber, by far the best rifle i have owned or shot. the recoil for being a 7 mil isn't bad at all, its a steady gun, the cheek plate is a awesome feature and the price was great i can kill anything from coyote and white tail back east to elk and bear out west i love that gun
Smooth music, man. I am thinking of purchasing a CZ 550 in .30-06 (like mauser style) or a Remington 700 SPS .30-06 (more affordable, different action though). Also thinking of purchasing a bolt .22 or .17hmr. Choices, choices...
Pactice staying on target while chambering another round. You'll find this helpful in future hunts. Also, I own the REM 700 SPS Buckmasters chambered in .270. I use a 130 grain bullet that's dead-on at 100/200 yards and only hits 1/2 low at 330 yds. Amazing trajectory!!!
A small cardboard box with a sticker bullseye on it. The dirt that blows up in the air is from the bullets going through the cardboard. It was on the lower side of that back drop so I wasn't concerned with anything flying over it and hitting something I wasn't shooting at.
does anyone know anything about the remington model 700 sps 30-06 stainless rifle? I'm looking for a new gun with a reasonable price and good quality.
What are you wanting to know exactly? The only difference would be that it's stainless, which is supposed to take the weather much better. Other than that you would have to be more specific with your question.
a Remington 700 sps stainless would be a little more expensive then a normal one because stainless steel is a stronger and harder metal then stress proof steel! stainless steel is not rust proof but high rust resistant!...most places you would be looking at about $100.00 more than a normal sps!
I have the Model 700 SPS Buckmaster in Winchester .270 and another one on the way in 30-06. My .270 using custom Handloads with Nosler Ballistic tips seated high and close to the rifling consistently shoots 1/2 groups. I cannot count how many bullets strike the same spot. I am extremely impressed with accuracy and reliability of the Model 700 SPS Buckmaster. So much so that I have a second one chambered for 30-06 on order.
wait so u can you put 4 rounds in the internal mag and hold them down drop a 5th round in the chamber and rack the bolt foward(cuz thats the only way i can figure out how it would work((5rds))
I'm looking to buy a new Remington 7600 .30-06 with the Nikon 6452 Buckmaster 4.5-14x40 scope. I'm kind of curious about buying a Nikon scope as I have never used one before. Suggestions or opinions?
hi nice gun do u no how many feet per sec it is. And do u think it is a good long range rifle if so what is the farthis target u hit and how many yards was it thx i whant to buy it
Yeah your right. I've also noticed some great deals from Cabela's. The price on guns and ammunition should be dropping even more soon I've been told, due to some sort of tax credit or something like that that. The rilfes at Cabela's do not come with a Nikon scope, but a cabela's scope for the most part, but still a great deal I think. Enjoy!

Just wondering what were you shooting at?

Can you show us a good close-up review on the gun? I have been wanting to see a video of it.

Open the bolt and insert 5 rounds then push the bolt forward and it locks the 5th one in the chamber with 4 left.
ArizonaAdventures 3 years ago
is that 3+1?

5 shots, as you can see in the video

victoria0610 3 years ago
There is definitely a kick with this rifle, but I guess it all depends on what bullet your shooting. I like Federal 180 grain.

The scope is a Nikon Buckmasters 3-9x40 scope. One of the best I've used!
