The scope and scale of this project is quite magnificent - and a positive focus for ancestral pride (my own included). When finished, a visit to this will definitely be on my bucket list! I just hope it doesn't become a symbol for hate-mongering, jingoistic seperatism...
why do people have to spoil things for others if you dont like the people then dont take out on us I LOVE THE WELSH DRAGON WITH ALL MY HEART AND I LOVE WALES/CYMRU WITH A PASSION Please remember if you cant take the heat stay out of rhe kitchen and leave the rest of us to enjoy the Beauty and Splendour of such a wonderful country CYMRU AM BYTH ....
@nrjelley It doesn't scare me pal, I visit Cymru quite often. I love the country, I love the Welsh, and I love the red dragon or ddraig coch (or is it goch) as you say in Wales. I think it is great how you proudly fly the dragon everywhere. I can see why you would want to scare us though, there are too many pig-ignorant English people who are too quick to dismiss the Welsh. I am proud to say I am not one of them, we should embrace each other rather than hate each other. England & Wales forever.
@dragonegg2603 What is your problem? I have nothing but respect for Wales. I have loads of Welsh freinds on youtube, on facebook and in person. I also have Welsh in my family. If you have had a bad experience with any English people then I am sorry about that but we are not all the same, trust me. Why are you so anti-English? And this time give me an educated answer not just "fuck off English twat". Believe me, I am NOT your enemy.
@bramleybull dont get riled up by these comments, unfortunately in places like east wales there is a lot of slanging matches and also young people are rediscovering the history of Wales which has been hidden for years and it angers people due to all the injustices. HOWEVER as a welshman and a geneticist I know all of the people of Britain have been shafted over by the state/ruling elite............so these people are misguided to attack the english ppl :)
Thought he looked fearsome when I fist saw him - but he is growing on me and from these angles, looks awesome.( Or can dragons be female?) Perhaps look at it more as guarding Wales than keeping people out? Great tourist pull for the area. I used to live 2 miles from Chirk.

They should build a giant red Welsh Dragon on the Welsh side of the Severn Bridge to scare all the English people coming over the border! =)
