The song is pretty easy to sing. I think all you have to do is sing the words to the song in any pitch. I don't know how you didn't get 100%.

I think it also judges when you begin and end a note (to safeguard against those that may try to just sing anything for those parts). Also, the mic isn't exactly the best in the world. You have to fill the "clock meter" thing to full for it to count as a completed phrase, and I've found that it doesn't exactly work the way it probably should (it kept denying me a phrase on Sabotage, even though I SWORE I sang it exactly every single time).
