As well there are some tribes that clearly have Arabian origins but shifted from Sunni to Shia in very recent times actually such tribes are the Banu Lam, Muntafaq, Bani Kaab, Bani Malik, and many others.
However many Arabian tribes kept their Sunni identity, especially the nomadic people of the North. As some only of the Northern Iraqi Arabs are indeed Arabized, but many are not. In fact Iraqi Arabs are the closest people genetically to the people of Arabia and Bahrain but they are more related to Bahrainis because of historical nature between the two countries.
