  • Meu sonho de consumo, e estou quase pra realizar obrigado meu Deus

  • That guitar has an orgasmic sounds when you strum full chords, ARRRGHHH!!! I WANT IT!!!

  • hey,can u tell me if J-200 new vintage body size is really Jumbo or Super Jumbo.thank u

  • beautiful!

  • Nice sounding guitar but they don't cut thru the mix when picking with other instruments in a group setting like a Martin Dread does. You wouldn't use this in a Bluegrass setting anyway, though.

  • @popoaggie

    But a D28 will always sound a bit muddy. A J200 with it's maple back/sides sounds clearer.

  • I rather prefer a martin, much more quality.

  • That is the best sounding acoustic guitar I have ever heard. It sounds very chunky; beautiful. Does anyone know if you can get a similar sound from the Epiphone EJ-200

  • @SpikePeppi1 I actually prefer the sound of the Epiphone, and it's a shitload cheaper too.

  • i was in the US for some time and played everything in guitar center , ovation killed everything , i don't remember trying this though and i really like its looks and tone but noway to try it here in Greece which is a shame cause jerry reed my favorite guitar hero was playing one

  • that guitar sounds MASSIVE....i mean GOOD LORD

  • I want this guitar so much.

  • @WeSuckGAMING ........and give you bloody fingertips and give money to the Japs.....

  • That guy sounds like woody allen

  • how does this compare to the Gibson J-200 Studio apart from its looks? Is it any larger? And how does the sound differ?

  • Can you believe i went in sweetwater and they didnt even sell thumb picks!!!

  • Jimmy Page...

  • **MELTING** :E IWANTONE !

  • How are the scratchplate/ pickguard designs done? Is it paint? Are they done by hand? I have a gibson jumbo, but there is no design in the pickguard. I feel naked.

  • videos like this should be in HD sound

  • It is a great beautyful guitar!

  • this guy needs to get his facts straight. the biggest non custom-built acoustic guitar made in 1937 USA was the 18 1/2 inch wide Epiphone Emperor, and even Gibson's own Super-400 was an inch wider than the J-200. on top of this, Larson Bros. produced a handful of 19 inch wide flattops, as well as at least one 21 inch wide custom guitar

  • Is it easily bendable?

  • they really outta find someone who can actually play the things for these demos instead of just talk about them. I can read a text description for that.

  • that 1st music sounds like "acoustic alchemy".

beautiful guitar...this will be my next purchase in 4 yrs. The only drawback for me is the location of the battery. Why was it designed to go through the sound hole compare to external port?

  • i really love the guitar...i just can't afford it. Any other Gibsons that are somewhat the same?

  • @theEddievanhalen

Epiphone made an similar version, the epiphone ej-200

  • @jorisjan9 thanks!

  • i want one!

  • Very fantastic guitar ... I have one :) my NeXT guitar Will be a hummingbird true vinage and a Martin d21 spécial

  • I'm downgrading my car for this guitar, lol. Selling what I have, going with a crappier car but an awesome guitar.

  • @van1980 Smart move Bro. You have my support 100% ! A guitar gives a lot more joy to the user than a car, anytime!

  • Also, do all j200s have that fishman pickup thing? Or is that just some? I always thought they were fully acoustic

  • Just picked mine up yesterday........What a beautiful piece of art............plays phenomenal too!!!!

  • does anyone know if gibson make or have ever made left handed j200s? i cant find one anywhere ):

  • @topgear1507 Hi there. That's a good question for one of our Sales Engineers. We may be able to place a special order for you. To find out for sure, just give us a call at (800) 222-4700. Thanks for checking out our video!

  • thankyou! will give that number a ring (:

  • @topgear1507 <Yes they do I own 2 - Check out Southpaw guitars in Houston - Call them they are Left Handed Guitars specialist

  • @topgear1507 You could order a J 200 and have an experienced guitar luthier switch the nut to accommodate the switch in string gauge, the same would have to be done for the bridge. You wouldn't have the pickguard on the other side though but still, a majority of left handed artists have played instruments in this fashion

  • @topgear1507 If you bought a righty ,a good luthier could switch it with little difficulty. The pickguards are gaudy. So I always remove mine, just personal preference.

  • @topgear1507 There is a lefty S200 on Ebay right now 12/7/11. Item number 200683086476. he's asking $3,295. Hope you can get this mesage in time:)

  • dear santa

    gimme a j-200

    please

  • hands down the best guitar i have EVER heard.

if money weren't such an issue, i would buy it in a heartbeat.

  • @TAP7006 then you must have never heard a martin d-28. lol

  • Many 3000 dollar guitars beat this

  • now thats a senior guitar!! i've always wanted one of those, the fact is that i live in mexico and here its quite hard to found out with one of these guitars, :(

  • @FoRsepsV Actually only certain places carry them here in the States. It's really, really rare to see them in stores, I think you have to order them from the factory or something. (I've never seen one in a shop.) Plus, they are damned expensive, so really it's hard to get them here too.

  • Oh my GOD, her tone is beautiful!

  • i need a job but im only 13... one more year

  • i want one 2

  • I want one!

  • its used in August Rush....

  • :-O... nice guitar.. but very costly $4500 :-(

  • hey, im guna be buying a j200 in january and im wondering if any1 cud tell me what strings i should use for the best sound?

    thanks

  • @Gjameshill "Spectrum bronze" is best string i have try.

  • its way too costly... out of my budget... :-(

wish I win a lottery, then I would buy this :-p

  • @sudeep2005123 look at the epiphone version, played it at my local shop 2 days ago, best sounding guitar ive ever heard and for a great price compared to the gibson. You get ALOT of guitar for the money!

  • @SirBenjamin88 There's perception and there's reality. We've heard this said before, but it's simply not true. We don't carry the same J-200s as Musician's Friend. But we do both have the J-200 20th Anniversary model available right now. Ours is offered for $150 less. Take a look.

  • @SweetwaterSound call a rep and he will help you out. the thing about sweetwater is they know what they are doing and they care about their customer , They have nicer guitars, and their customer service is top of the line. .......and you get candy in your box when you buy something from then.....and im fat ...that means a lot :)

  • @SirBenjamin88 well i disagree the prices are the same but the give free shipping on everything and the 55 pont eval. is great. i will admit there selection is mediocre

  • this is a terrible demo though

  • i like the sound of the guitar but i dont feel that this guy is playing it in a way that compliments its tone.

  • gibsons suck ass

quit thinking you're the best guitar makers in the industry, when clearly fender is

  • @jackofscythes

read my new comment to roland7676

  • @brandinator22 it's obviously a biased opinion in your case. in my eyes, gibsons are the top brand for rock as their tonal qualities greatly complement those of many rock songs. good sustain, clean harmonics, plus the humbucker(which infact was first found stock on gibson guitars) cancels the hum you are bound to get at high gain settings on a single coil pickup. as a matter of fact, i think that fenders are best for jazz and country, do to the twangy tone of single coils

  • @jackofscythes

i've been talking to a few professional musicians my dad knows (whom also happens to be a pro musician..) and they all told me that fenders are better than gibsons. plus, fenders sound incredibly clear and bright for concerts and live shows, they're just so versatile guitars..

i'm a fan of rock music, rather than jazz, and if i were to be looking for a hollow electric guitar i'd probably get an ES.. but all in all, most professionals would recommend fenders

  • @brandinator22 fender acoustics are terrible, you can pick some up for £80. i have this guitar and it is beautiful however fender electrics a gorgious

  • @brandinator22 You really feel that Fender makes the best acoustic guitars in the industry??? Ever heard of Collings, Martin, Larrivee, Taylor, Huss and Dalton, Breedlove, Eastman,.......or even Seagull for that matter? Oh I forgot one more; Gibson!

  • @roland7676

i wasnt talking about acoustic guitars, i just think teles and strats are better than the les pauls and SGs

gibson acoustics are great, including the j-200, which i got to play the other day... sounds and feels incredible

it's like this: gibsons are good for the acoustic and jazz departments, and fenders are good for all genres of rock, blues, country... pretty much anything else

  • merci!

  • lame

  • I hace an SJ 200 its really sweet signature series

  • great Sound. I really like it.
