look moss was not injured and neither was brady brady was faking it and there was never anything wrong with moss.you know who was injued, its was plaxico burress really was injured that was the only person that was injured going into the game.and i dont care what anyone says the giants did not comittee pass interference in the last 40 seconds of the game.
wrong qb as bj queen. everybody knows brady spends more time on his knees than a football field. his ass could pass fucking shamu. not sayin hes gay, just that he loves him some peter and i aint talkin griffin.
haha funny video. also funny to look at people arguing over brady and manning. both great quarterbacks. i would say right now brady is better. he definantely gets hotter bitches. no question about that.
Derekness...take a huge breath yourself typing so much bullshit. Bottom line is this. Mannings rule. I am not sure which game hurt you more. Giants shutting you up or the Colts shutting you up. I am a Giants fan who has lived in Indy for 21 years now and I want to personally thank you for giving me and the rest of the non-cheating world for the best 2 years in football history. Go MANNINGS!! Lets face it buddy, pats are done with!
You wanted 3 NO 1 QBs who could match up to Brady. I gave you MORE than 3 and the list was totally unbiased as the Niners have not been to a SB in 15 years, so I have no interest one way or the other. Brady benefited from cheated, whereas Joe, Peyton, Unitas, Graham, Elway, and Favre...to name a few, benefited ONLY from their own hard work. Give it a rest. Every QB I mentioned matches up to TB, and in many cases are better. Like Joe, Terry, Steve, Elway and Favre, plus Marino. More than 3!
seriously?? you running around saying tom brady sucks. i live in maryland idiot. and if you were bostonian you would have at least said one thing positive about the pats by now
Well guess what? I live in California, Los Angeles to be exact. The reason why I say that I am a Bostonian is because of the fact that I was born there.
It was my Father that has gotten me into Boston Sports, including the Patriots. And yes, Tom Brady does suck, considering the fact that he put that Whore Gisele in front of winning the Super Bowl 2 months ago.
If you ask me, I think that Asshole was being very selfish to his team, judging by his performance in the Super Bowl.
um wow u seriously think it was his fault they lost the superbowl it was the freakin o-line letting him get sacked FIVE times! no QB is gunna be 100% after getting smacked around as much as he did
Well you know? Tell me, why do we have Halftime in Football? For you to make adjustments!
Tom Brady should have used his Brain, and tried to mix in a Flea Flicker, a Double Reverse, or maybe, a Hook and Ladder.
If he would burned the Giant Defense for, at least, 2 Touchdowns on Gimmick Plays, I know then, he would had the Giant Defense completely off balanced.
Football is a Psychological Sport, once you know that you have your Opponent beat, obviously you are going to try harder.
whether thats true or not hes still gotten us 3 superbowl rings so dont complain about 1 loss. 3 superbowl wins in 7 seasons is nothing to complain about. dont be so selfish and quick to judge people over one performance.
im done here wasting my time. if u wanna bitch so much become a chargers fan or something. no ones forcing u to be a patriots fan and have to watch tom brady "suck" in one superbowl ill enjoy him winning many more in the future
SELFISH? in what way. And if you like the patriots then why are you talking crap on them? Thats not right. I don't moind you hating the patriots, but hating them if you are still liking them?
peyton is so much better than tom. peyton cares about the game more and tom always (except for last season) puts up average stats. While Manning is studying film and preparing for the next week, Brady is walking in hollywood posing for people magazine. Tom is selfish and thwe pats suck. AND, they do cheat. they werent accused of it, they got caught. and all they lost was a draft pick? ru kidding me. after the cheating came out, they made the refs fix games and eventually they lost. GO BENGALS!!!
And can you tell me what the hell is wrong with PEYTON MANNING AND THE FUCKING CHARGERS? First he looses to them in the regular season and throws 6 interceptions ( Tom brady only threw 5 in the whole season up to that game ). He then looses to them in the play offs. I'm not sure if I'm right but last season or one before that he threw 6 against the Chargers again!*Takes a huuge breath** DONE!
On 2008-01-05, Brady was named the NFL MVP, garnering a record-tying 49 of 50 possible votes (the only other vote went to Brett Favre), making him the first Patriot to ever win the award. He was also named NFL Offensive Player of the Year, receiving 35.5 of 50 votes.
Brady won numerous NFL awards during the season: he was voted FedEx Express NFL Player of the Week (an award for quarterbacks) four times (in Weeks 6, 7, 11, and 17), selected as AFC Offensive Player of the Week five times (in Weeks 3, 6, 7, 14, and 17), and AFC Offensive Player of the Month for both September and October.
Brady finished 398/578 for 4,806 yards (#3 all-time) and 50 touchdowns (#1 all time) versus 8 interceptions, and a 117.2 passer rating (#2 all-time). His 398 completions was 5th all-time.
Week 17: Brady threw two touchdown passes; his second touchdown was his 50th, breaking Peyton Manning's 2004 record of 49. The pass was also Randy Moss' 23rd touchdown catch of the season, breaking Jerry Rice's record of 22 in a season. The win finished off the first 16-0 season in NFL history, and was the Patriots' 19th consecutive regular season win, breaking their own 2003-2004 record of 18.
Week 16: Brady's third touchdown of the day was the Patriots' 71st total touchdown of the season, breaking the NFL record of 70 set by the Miami Dolphins in 1984. This was his twelfth game of the season with three or more touchdown passes, extending his own NFL record. This was also the Patriots', and Brady's, 18th consecutive regular-season win, tying the NFL record they set in 2003 and 2004.
Week 15: Brady, making his 108th consecutive regular-season start at quarterback, surpassed Joe Ferguson for the fourth-longest streak in NFL history, after Brett Favre, Peyton Manning, and Ron Jaworski.
Week 14: In a 34-13 victory against Pittsburgh, he threw four touchdowns, putting him third all-time for touchdown passes in a single season with 45, behind Manning in 2004 and Marino in 1984. It was his eleventh game with at least three touchdown passes, beating Dan Marino's 1984 record of ten.He also reached the 4,000 yards passing mark for only the second time in his career.
Week 13: In another come-from-behind win, a 27-24 win against the Baltimore Ravens, he became the fourth quarterback—after Kurt Warner, Peyton Manning, and Dan Marino (who did it twice)—to throw 40 touchdown passes in a season.
Week 11: Following the Patriots' bye week, Brady threw for another five touchdown passes in a 56-10 rout of Buffalo, breaking Steve Grogan's franchise record for career touchdown passes with 185.
Week 12: In a narrow 31-28 win over Philadelphia, he only threw for a single touchdown, ending his streak of three-touchdown games at ten, but did reach 25,000 regular-season passing yards.
Week 8: In a 52-7 rout at home against Washington, he threw three touchdowns, giving him a career-best 30 for the season; his previous best was 28—in an entire season—in 2002 and 2004.
Week 7: In a 49-28 win at Miami, he had yet another record day, with six passing touchdowns, setting a franchise record. He also had the first perfect passer rating of his career,[17] and the first in Patriots history.
Brady, along with Moss, decided to pull out of the 2008 Pro Bowl. Brady not only led the Patriots to a 16-0 record, outscoring opponents by more than a 2-to-1 margin, but reached numerous career, franchise, and NFL records and milestones as well: Week 6: Visiting Dallas, he had a career-high five passing touchdowns in a 48-27 win. The win tied him with Roger Staubach for the most wins ever by a starting quarterback in his first 100 regular-season games, with 76.
Playing with a dramatically overhauled receiver corps—in the 2007 offseason, the Patriots acquired wide receivers Donté Stallworth, Wes Welker, Kelley Washington and Randy Moss; tight end Kyle Brady; and running back Sammy Morris—Brady enjoyed what some sports writers have described as the best season ever by a quarterback.
The Patriots also won the AFC East divisional title for the third time in four years. In the AFC playoffs, Brady led the Patriots to victories over the Indianapolis Colts and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Brady played his best game of the year in Pittsburgh despite requiring IV treatment the previous night when he had a temperature of 103 degrees. Against the NFL's best defensive team, Brady recorded a quarterback passer rating of 130.5, his highest of the season.
During the 2004 season, Brady helped the Patriots set an NFL record with 21 straight wins dating from the previous year, an accomplishment now memorialized in the Pro Football Hall of Fame (officially, though, the NFL considers it an 18-game regular season winning streak; it does not count playoff games). New England's 14-2 record matched that of the 2003 season and equaled the best record ever for a defending champion.
On February 1, 2004, Brady led the Patriots to a 32-29 victory over the NFC champion Carolina Panthers in Super Bowl XXXVIII and was named Super Bowl MVP for the second time. During the game, Brady threw for 354 yards with 3 touchdowns and set the record for most completions by a QB in the Super Bowl (32). With 1:08 left in the fourth quarter and the score tied at 29, Brady engineered a drive to put the Patriots in position for the game-winning field goal.
Brady was named MVP of Super Bowl XXXVI while throwing for 145 yards, one touchdown, and no interceptions.
In the 2003 NFL season, after a 2-2 start, Brady led the Patriots to 12 consecutive victories to finish the season and win the AFC East. Statistically, Brady's strongest game of the season was against Buffalo, when he achieved a season-high quarterback rating of 122.9. In the first two rounds of the playoffs, the Patriots defeated the Tennessee Titans and Indianapolis Colts.
The score was tied with 1:21 left in the Super Bowl and the Patriots were at their own 15--with no timeouts--when sportscaster and Super Bowl-winning coach John Madden said he thought the Patriots should run out the clock and try to win the game in overtime. Instead, Brady drove the Patriots offense down the field to the Rams 31 before spiking the ball with 8 seconds left. The Patriots won the game on another Adam Vinatieri field goal as time expired.
In the AFC Championship Game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Brady injured his ankle, and was relieved by Bledsoe. The Patriots won the game and were immediately instituted by Las Vegas oddsmakers as 14-point underdogs against the NFC champion St. Louis Rams in Super Bowl XXXVI.
The most controversial play of that game came when, trailing by three in the fourth quarter, Brady lost control of the ball after being hit by fellow Wolverine Charles Woodson. Oakland initially recovered the ball, but, citing the "tuck rule," which states that any forward throwing motion by a quarterback begins a pass, referee Walt Coleman overturned that call on instant replay, ruling it an incomplete pass rather than a fumble.
n Brady's first playoff game, against the Oakland Raiders, Brady threw for 312 yards, and led the Patriots back from a 10-point fourth-quarter deficit to send the game to overtime, where they won on an Adam Vinatieri field goal.
In his first two games, Brady posted unspectacular passer ratings of 79.6 and 58.7, respectively, in a 44-3 victory over the Indianapolis Colts (in their last season in the AFC East) and a 30-10 loss to the Miami Dolphins. Brady played much better during the rematch at Indianapolis, with a passer rating of 148.3 in a 38-17 win. The Patriots won 11 of the 14 games Brady started, entering the playoffs with a first-round bye.
Brady was thrust into the starter's role on September 23, 2001, during a home game against their AFC East rivals, the New York Jets. In that game, which the Patriots lost, Bledsoe suffered internal bleeding after a collision with Jets linebacker Mo Lewis. Later that week, Brady was named the Patriots' starting quarterback.
Brady worked his way from the fourth string, behind starter Drew Bledsoe and backups John Friesz and Michael Bishop; by season's end, he was number two on the depth chart behind Bledsoe. During his rookie season, he was 1-for-3 passing, for 6 yards.
rady was selected with pick #199, a compensatory pick, of the 2000 NFL Draft. According to Michael Holley's book Patriot Reign, the Patriots were considering Brady and Tim Rattay, both of whom had received positive reviews from then-quarterbacks coach Dick Rehbein. Ultimately, the Patriots front office chose Brady, a decision that a 2007 NFL Network special deemed the greatest "steal" in the history of the NFL Draft.
hunblephil, you must be forgetting the fact that Tom Brady replaced Drew Bledsoe and your so called 'profile' of Tom Brady was immensely bias. So I will explain his career. In 2001 of the AFC championship game Drew Bledsoe was sacked further injured. Bill Bellichick called in a 7th round draft pick from Michigan. Tom came into the game great not throwing one interception. He then came into a game aginst the St. Louis Rams ( And that crap about bill taping it was a walk through which does not
You obviously have to be talented to take a situation and make something good out of it, but without the entire team being better defensively than most of their opponents and a ST edge with AV...? Brady would NEVER have won a SB. Oh, and for those Joe comparisons, can you tell me what QBs he was played against in the SB that were worth a damn in comparison to Elway, Marino, Boomer and Kenny Anderson--who were BOTH NFL MVP when Montana's teams beat them.
Oh, also there was a guy named Otto Graham who won TEN STRAIGHT NFL TITLES WITHOUT A LOSS. Brady is just lucky to be in the situation that he is in. He was never, EVER drafted to be the guy to rescue his team from mediocrity like Peyton, Joe, Dan and Elway were. He was drafted to be a backup, period.
Many would debate the legitimacy of Peyton Manning being on this list in front of Steve Young. But if one would look closely at the careers of these two players, then a case would be made that Peyton Manning deserves to be placed above those candidates.
Steve Young started his career with the USFL. He played for the Los Angeles Express for two seasons before the league went obsolete. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers then drafted him first in the supplementary draft, where he went 3-16 in two seasons as a starter for that franchise.
He threw 11 touchdowns, 21 interceptions, and posted a 61.2 passer rating. He was labeled a "bust" by the Tampa Bay organization and subsequently traded to the San Francisco 49ers (Tampa Bay drafted Vinny Testerverde with the first pick of 1987 NFL draft).
With his arrival in the Bay Area, he would back up Joe Montana, along with coming to a team far more talented than Tampa Bay. Mike Holmgren, who is considered one of the greatest offensive minds the NFL has ever seen, would tutor him. With his talent and the talent around him, he naturally shone, and would eventually become the successor to the 'Niners.
He would go on to win two MVPs and a Super Bowl. However, it took Steve Young time to develop into the quarterback that he became. No doubt that Steve Young is a superb quarterback but, unlike Manning, he inherited a four-time winning Super Bowl team with the luxury of carrying a clipboard for four years.
Manning was immediately thrown into the fire with the Indianapolis Colts, who drafted him with the number one overall pick in the 1998 NFL draft. He inherited a very mediocre franchise that was on the verge of being relocated to another city. Manning was immediately thrown into the fire with the Indianapolis Colts, who drafted him with the number one overall pick in the 1998 NFL draft. He inherited a very mediocre franchise that was on the verge of being relocated to another city.
Set NFL regular season record for touchdowns in a season and he has the most consecutive seasons with 4000 passing yards or more (six). He also has the most 4000 yard passing seasons (seven) by any quarterback. He forms one component of the most prolific quarterback-wide receiver duo in NFL (Marvin Harrison, with 677 completions, 10,253 yards, and 106 touchdowns between them). Manning is also a two-time MVP.
Can you tell me what the hell Brady's problem with the Manning brothers is then? The last two years he has lost an 18 POINT LEAD--THE MOST EVER IN A CHAMPIONSHIP GAME--and then this year Eli did what TRUE HOFers do. Lead teams to GAME WINNING TD DRIVES, NOT FG DRIVES. Something that Brady has never done and if he could not do it with this team, he won't ever do it. Brady is owned by the Manning brothers. He is 2-4 in his last 6 games against Peyton and Eli.
Favre has recently set the NFL record for completions by a quarterback (5,021) and is tied for second in wins by a quarterback (with Marino). Favre ended a 29-year drought in Green Bay, by delivering a Super Bowl. He has started in 236 straight games, an NFL record for a quarterback and is the only three-time MVP the NFL has ever had.
Set every major passing record in the record book by the time he retired. Marino did all this without a viable rushing attack throughout his career. He set the standard for consistent productivity for a quarterback with his lightning quick release and canon arm. He was a winner, despite the fact that he never won a Super Bowl.
Obviously Favre is better than Brady when it comes to accomplishments, and maybe even overall personality. However, Brady is a better QB. True, he lost the Superbowl, but it was due to a confused O-line and weak defense. If Brady and Eli were both playing on teams with equal power, Brady would definitly lead his to victory.
Which team was undefeated going into the game and the other team having 6 losses?? Are you nuts? The Pats got TOTALLY OUTPLAYED, so don't give me any excuses. The Giants were supposedly a weaker team, that was totally outmanned at every position and yet THEY manhandled the Pats. It was not because the team was confused and a weak Defense. The Giants scored 17 points, which is not that much. The Giants defense was just better and their offense came through in the clutch, again, in the 4th.
The Pats just had an off night, Tom Brady and Randy Moss were injured, also the Pats only lost one game, the Giants lost six, so who do you think is better.
Like I said, stop the excuses. The Pats lost not because Brady or Moss were injured...by that time of the year, name player who is NOT injured. The fact that Brady could heave the last second Hail Mary over fifty yards or more shows he was NOT significantly injured at all. The Pats did not have an "off night". They got outplayed. The Giants won 11 games in a ROW on the ROAD, and played in a superior division and conference. The Pats were overrated going into the game and it showed.
EXCUSES, EXCUSES, EXCUSES!!! Pats lost. Moss was NOT hurt, neither was Brady. They just got outplayed in every SINGLE phase....which serves the CHEATERS right.
yeah okay Eli didnt win it 4 the stupid giants either. Tom Brady is awesome and i really dont care what you say. Tom Bradys stats are better than that queers anyway. so shut your mouth.
wow, what did you say?? The point is that Brady never would have won without a cheater for a coach, and one of the most clutch FG kickers in history, who happens to have more SB rings than Tommie does, too LOL!!! You're boy Brady has lost two years in a row to the Mannings, so I would just shut up until he proves he can win again and not choke away 4th quarter leads like he has done the last two season-ending games for the Pats. Also, Eli and Peyton are married, so if anyone is a queer, TB is
ok first of all every team in the nfl cheats, they just got caught. second of all Tom Brady is much better than Eli, end of story. And I'm so sick of people saying Tom Brady is gay. Come on. just because hes good looking and everyone likes him doesnt mean hes gay. what the hell. Just because Eli looks gay doesnt mean Tom Brady is too. haha
The point is that the Pats did get caught and then still lied about it straight-faced to the new commish. The Pats got their comeuppance. I can't wait for Moss to quit on your team this year and then see how pathetic Maroney is cuz without the threat of Moss on the field, the Pats offense will STOP completely.
By the way, Jerry Rice caught 22 TDs in 12 GAMES not 23 in 16. Had there been a full season, Rice would have had nearly 30 TD receptions so don't even compare Moss to Rice, either.
favre won 1 sb so are you trying to say brady is better than him as a qb? stop riding brady's dick. brady lost this year's sb to eli manning and his team 18-0, stats dont lie manning > brady
I do consider Brady beter than Favre. Brady is a WINNING QB. He wins more than Manning, he wins more QB's than Manning, he has 3 rings and he is only 30 years old. When it all comes down, you want a Quarterback that is going to win you games and SB's
then what happened in this year's SB? who won? brady is a better qb than eli, but he STILL LOST. SB are won by teams not QB alone. DOnt get anal because Brady didnt win this year.
brady went to the patriots! one of the best teams in the nfl, favre went to GB and made them great, its one thing to win on a great team but quite another to win with a team that u made great...in other words stfu
he had pro bowl lineman and a probowl defense. obviously receivers dont matter since brady had the best receiving core this year and still lost teh superbowl
you mean when the tuck rule and adam v. won the superbowl. the pro bowl is overrated. alotta people are there and dont deserve to be. alotta people ARENT there and do deserve to be so thats an inconsistent measure
HEY! Dan Marino is one of the best QB's of all time, never won a superbowl. And Brady is 3rd best quaterback of all time. Once he gets that 4th ring he will be on top of the list. (Joe Montana, Terry Bradsahw and Tom brady!)
Uh, NO he won't be. He will never touch EITHER Montana or Bradshaw because they NEVER LOST A SUPER BOWL. And especially not Joe, as he--Like Eli--actually led a Game Winning TD drive that was culminated by a TD pass not a priss FG. Without a good FG kicker the caliber of Viniatieri, Montana won 4, and the only two that were close were the first and last ones. Amazingly enough Joe Montana's Niners won against Marino and Elway 93-26--against TWO HOF QBs.
Are you dense? If you can name 3 NO 1 quater back that is even close to touching tom brady in records brokken, super bowls won AND come backs do i need to mention how mnay come backs Tom Brady led in the regular season and post seaosn +30 and he still has a good 7 or 8 years left in him
Montana never threw an interception in four Super Bowls. His ability to find the third or fourth option was uncanny. He was the first player ever to win two AP MVP awards. His passing yards were not the highest, but his ability to stay cool under pressure set him above the rest. Not to mention that he has four Super Bowl rings.
Was considered the perpetual goat until he led his teams to Super Bowl victories in his final two seasons. Elway has the most come from behind victories by any NFL quarterback and has more wins than any other quarterback in NFL history.
Tom Brady... cheat on your girlfriend, not on football... fucking cheaters... gooo colts... goo giants..!! the trophy stays in the Family... the Mannings
i think peyton cooper and eli are sexy...theres sumthin bout those manning boys. but elis probably the hottest. still loving the colts though! and giants:) we won the superbowl bitches!
goldfish is right brady sux and gets too much credit for his look s and in reality looks mean nothin in football. cause at the end ur face looks like shit because can ruin ur face and id rather be able to play football with an ok face like manning than look like a sex bomb and not be able to pass a ball like brady .
Superbowls are won by teams, not QB's. The patriots have a strong team but NOT cause Brady. Yall sound like some females who don't watch football but think hes cute and wanna give him credit. Brady and Moss have records because the Patriots play their starters more. More time=more yards. Peyton knows the game and plays it better. Hes got good recievers, but they aint no ten foot Moss. Plus, Brady plays for a CHEATING coach who won't even shake Tony D's hand after a game. Nice sportsmanship Bill.
that was fabulous XD i have watched it a lot and it doesn't get old...
and i love Peyton (not as much as Eli tho, as u can probably tell by my username), so this vid is not for haters! it's for non-homophobic people with a sense of humor.
first of all, to the dumbass that said peyton was over rated, your a dumbass. and you know nothing about football... brady has the rings and the numbers because of the players on his team... your fucking stupid and you shouldnt be able to comment on shit that you know nothing about...
thank you. the colts team is awesome(sanders, clark, harrison-even though that fumble hurt, wayne, addai-could of done better these playoffs but still love him), but brady's got more tools to work with. peyton knows the clock, can rush plays when necessary. if you think about it, there is no competition. manning kills brady any day.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
peyton manning is over rated.. he gets an offense around him thats average this year and cant even take them to the AFC championship.. Tom Brady has had that same problem for years and got them to plenty of superbowls.. Brady finally gets that and rips it up.. this is why the pats are the best team in the NFL ever.. man its nice to be from Boston and be on top of the sports world.. peace B*tches
p8rfan for the past 5 years brady has been licking Peytons ass in the probowl and avatarblackwolf u are a dumbass. Its 42 not 41 and guess who 41. PEYTON. O ya and Moss and Manning and a good offensive line would = 60 TDs
I am willing to bet 90% of people outside of the Northeast think Tom Brady is a homo. I like how you have to try to attack Manning instead of defending Brady the lady.
Y'all know how they got the idea for the "double stuffed racing league" commercial? One of the producers saw Peyton Manning licking Tom Brady's ass at the Pro Bowl.
Fuck Tom Brady if anyone had an o line as good as his they could be 2x as good. when you have all fucking day to throw it makes it kind of easy. Ffs my fucking grandma could have that o line and make a throw.
yeah okay sure. In the last game his o line was incredible, what about the ravens game? matt light gave up two sacks. Stop spitting what the mainstream says and get your own fucking voice you fucking tool ass bitch.
Peyton over Brady anyday. Patriots for the lasts 7 years have had a stellar defense that makes oppertunitys for its QB. Dont get me wrong Bradys great. But you put Manning in at QB for the Pats. He would break Bradys records. Manning has done awesome man. Cant hate niether of them....
korn65 But you put Manning in at QB for the Pats. He would break Bradys records.????.is that why Brady broke mannings record? The colts lost, get over it.
Patriots are cheaters 2001* 2003* 2004* 2007*

seriously?? you running around saying tom brady sucks. i live in maryland idiot. and if you were bostonian you would have at least said one thing positive about the pats by now
Celticsareback1 3 years ago
Well guess what? I live in California, Los Angeles to be exact. The reason why I say that I am a Bostonian is because of the fact that I was born there.
It was my Father that has gotten me into Boston Sports, including the Patriots. And yes, Tom Brady does suck, considering the fact that he put that Whore Gisele in front of winning the Super Bowl 2 months ago.
If you ask me, I think that Asshole was being very selfish to his team, judging by his performance in the Super Bowl.
Jiltedin2007 3 years ago
um wow u seriously think it was his fault they lost the superbowl it was the freakin o-line letting him get sacked FIVE times! no QB is gunna be 100% after getting smacked around as much as he did
Celticsareback1 3 years ago
Well you know? Tell me, why do we have Halftime in Football? For you to make adjustments!
Tom Brady should have used his Brain, and tried to mix in a Flea Flicker, a Double Reverse, or maybe, a Hook and Ladder.
If he would burned the Giant Defense for, at least, 2 Touchdowns on Gimmick Plays, I know then, he would had the Giant Defense completely off balanced.
Football is a Psychological Sport, once you know that you have your Opponent beat, obviously you are going to try harder.
Jiltedin2007 3 years ago
whether thats true or not hes still gotten us 3 superbowl rings so dont complain about 1 loss. 3 superbowl wins in 7 seasons is nothing to complain about. dont be so selfish and quick to judge people over one performance.

peyton is so much better than tom. peyton cares about the game more and tom always (except for last season) puts up average stats.

Derekness22 4 years ago
Brady won numerous NFL awards during the season: he was voted FedEx Express NFL Player of the Week (an award for quarterbacks) four times (in Weeks 6, 7, 11, and 17), selected as AFC Offensive Player of the Week five times (in Weeks 3, 6, 7, 14, and 17), and AFC Offensive Player of the Month for both September and October.
Derekness22 4 years ago
Brady finished 398/578 for 4,806 yards (#3 all-time) and 50 touchdowns (#1 all time) versus 8 interceptions, and a 117.2 passer rating (#2 all-time). His 398 completions was 5th all-time.
Derekness22 4 years ago
Week 17: Brady threw two touchdown passes; his second touchdown was his 50th, breaking Peyton Manning's 2004 record of 49. The pass was also Randy Moss' 23rd touchdown catch of the season, breaking Jerry Rice's record of 22 in a season. The win finished off the first 16-0 season in NFL history, and was the Patriots' 19th consecutive regular season win, breaking their own 2003-2004 record of 18.
Derekness22 4 years ago
Week 16: Brady's third touchdown of the day was the Patriots' 71st total touchdown of the season, breaking the NFL record of 70 set by the Miami Dolphins in 1984. This was his twelfth game of the season with three or more touchdown passes, extending his own NFL record. This was also the Patriots', and Brady's, 18th consecutive regular-season win, tying the NFL record they set in 2003 and 2004.
Derekness22 4 years ago
Week 15: Brady, making his 108th consecutive regular-season start at quarterback, surpassed Joe Ferguson for the fourth-longest streak in NFL history, after Brett Favre, Peyton Manning, and Ron Jaworski.
Derekness22 4 years ago
Week 14: In a 34-13 victory against Pittsburgh, he threw four touchdowns, putting him third all-time for touchdown passes in a single season with 45, behind Manning in 2004 and Marino in 1984. It was his eleventh game with at least three touchdown passes, beating Dan Marino's 1984 record of ten.He also reached the 4,000 yards passing mark for only the second time in his career.
Derekness22 4 years ago
Week 13: In another come-from-behind win, a 27-24 win against the Baltimore Ravens, he became the fourth quarterback—after Kurt Warner, Peyton Manning, and Dan Marino (who did it twice)—to throw 40 touchdown passes in a season.
Derekness22 4 years ago
Week 11: Following the Patriots' bye week, Brady threw for another five touchdown passes in a 56-10 rout of Buffalo, breaking Steve Grogan's franchise record for career touchdown passes with 185.
Week 12: In a narrow 31-28 win over Philadelphia, he only threw for a single touchdown, ending his streak of three-touchdown games at ten, but did reach 25,000 regular-season passing yards.
Derekness22 4 years ago
Week 8: In a 52-7 rout at home against Washington, he threw three touchdowns, giving him a career-best 30 for the season; his previous best was 28—in an entire season—in 2002 and 2004.
Derekness22 4 years ago

Derekness22 4 years ago
Playing with a dramatically overhauled receiver corps—in the 2007 offseason, the Patriots acquired wide receivers Donté Stallworth, Wes Welker, Kelley Washington and Randy Moss; tight end Kyle Brady; and running back Sammy Morris—Brady enjoyed what some sports writers have described as the best season ever by a quarterback.
Derekness22 4 years ago
The Patriots also won the AFC East divisional title for the third time in four years. In the AFC playoffs, Brady led the Patriots to victories over the Indianapolis Colts and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Brady played his best game of the year in Pittsburgh despite requiring IV treatment the previous night when he had a temperature of 103 degrees. Against the NFL's best defensive team, Brady recorded a quarterback passer rating of 130.5, his highest of the season.
Derekness22 4 years ago
During the 2004 season, Brady helped the Patriots set an NFL record with 21 straight wins dating from the previous year, an accomplishment now memorialized in the Pro Football Hall of Fame (officially, though, the NFL considers it an 18-game regular season winning streak; it does not count playoff games). New England's 14-2 record matched that of the 2003 season and equaled the best record ever for a defending champion.
Derekness22 4 years ago
On February 1, 2004, Brady led the Patriots to a 32-29 victory over the NFC champion Carolina Panthers in Super Bowl XXXVIII and was named Super Bowl MVP for the second time. During the game, Brady threw for 354 yards with 3 touchdowns and set the record for most completions by a QB in the Super Bowl (32). With 1:08 left in the fourth quarter and the score tied at 29, Brady engineered a drive to put the Patriots in position for the game-winning field goal.
Derekness22 4 years ago
Brady was named MVP of Super Bowl XXXVI while throwing for 145 yards, one touchdown, and no interceptions.
In the 2003 NFL season, after a 2-2 start, Brady led the Patriots to 12 consecutive victories to finish the season and win the AFC East. Statistically, Brady's strongest game of the season was against Buffalo, when he achieved a season-high quarterback rating of 122.9. In the first two rounds of the playoffs, the Patriots defeated the Tennessee Titans and Indianapolis Colts.
Derekness22 4 years ago
The score was tied with 1:21 left in the Super Bowl and the Patriots were at their own 15--with no timeouts--when sportscaster and Super Bowl-winning coach John Madden said he thought the Patriots should run out the clock and try to win the game in overtime. Instead, Brady drove the Patriots offense down the field to the Rams 31 before spiking the ball with 8 seconds left. The Patriots won the game on another Adam Vinatieri field goal as time expired.
Derekness22 4 years ago
In the AFC Championship Game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Brady injured his ankle, and was relieved by Bledsoe. The Patriots won the game and were immediately instituted by Las Vegas oddsmakers as 14-point underdogs against the NFC champion St. Louis Rams in Super Bowl XXXVI.
Derekness22 4 years ago
The most controversial play of that game came when, trailing by three in the fourth quarter, Brady lost control of the ball after being hit by fellow Wolverine Charles Woodson. Oakland initially recovered the ball, but, citing the "tuck rule," which states that any forward throwing motion by a quarterback begins a pass, referee Walt Coleman overturned that call on instant replay, ruling it an incomplete pass rather than a fumble.
Derekness22 4 years ago
n Brady's first playoff game, against the Oakland Raiders, Brady threw for 312 yards, and led the Patriots back from a 10-point fourth-quarter deficit to send the game to overtime, where they won on an Adam Vinatieri field goal.
Derekness22 4 years ago
In his first two games, Brady posted unspectacular passer ratings of 79.6 and 58.7, respectively, in a 44-3 victory over the Indianapolis Colts (in their last season in the AFC East) and a 30-10 loss to the Miami Dolphins. Brady played much better during the rematch at Indianapolis, with a passer rating of 148.3 in a 38-17 win. The Patriots won 11 of the 14 games Brady started, entering the playoffs with a first-round bye.
Derekness22 4 years ago
Brady was thrust into the starter's role on September 23, 2001, during a home game against their AFC East rivals, the New York Jets. In that game, which the Patriots lost, Bledsoe suffered internal bleeding after a collision with Jets linebacker Mo Lewis. Later that week, Brady was named the Patriots' starting quarterback.
Derekness22 4 years ago
Brady worked his way from the fourth string, behind starter Drew Bledsoe and backups John Friesz and Michael Bishop; by season's end, he was number two on the depth chart behind Bledsoe. During his rookie season, he was 1-for-3 passing, for 6 yards.
Derekness22 4 years ago
rady was selected with pick #199, a compensatory pick, of the 2000 NFL Draft.
Derekness22 4 years ago
hunblephil, you must be forgetting the fact that Tom Brady replaced Drew Bledsoe and your so called 'profile' of Tom Brady was immensely bias.

Oh, and for those Joe comparisons, can you tell me what QBs he was played against in the SB that were worth a damn in comparison to Elway, Marino, Boomer and Kenny Anderson--who were BOTH NFL MVP when Montana's teams beat them.
humblephil 4 years ago
Oh, also there was a guy named Otto Graham who won TEN STRAIGHT NFL TITLES WITHOUT A LOSS. Brady is just lucky to be in the situation that he is in. He was never, EVER drafted to be the guy to rescue his team from mediocrity like Peyton, Joe, Dan and Elway were. He was drafted to be a backup, period.
humblephil 4 years ago
Many would debate the legitimacy of Peyton Manning being on this list in front of Steve Young. But if one would look closely at the careers of these two players, then a case would be made that Peyton Manning deserves to be placed above those candidates.
humblephil 4 years ago
Steve Young started his career with the USFL. He played for the Los Angeles Express for two seasons before the league went obsolete. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers then drafted him first in the supplementary draft, where he went 3-16 in two seasons as a starter for that franchise.
humblephil 4 years ago
He threw 11 touchdowns, 21 interceptions, and posted a 61.2 passer rating. He was labeled a "bust" by the Tampa Bay organization and subsequently traded to the San Francisco 49ers (Tampa Bay drafted Vinny Testerverde with the first pick of 1987 NFL draft).
humblephil 4 years ago
With his arrival in the Bay Area, he would back up Joe Montana, along with coming to a team far more talented than Tampa Bay. Mike Holmgren, who is considered one of the greatest offensive minds the NFL has ever seen, would tutor him. With his talent and the talent around him, he naturally shone, and would eventually become the successor to the 'Niners.
humblephil 4 years ago
He would go on to win two MVPs and a Super Bowl. However, it took Steve Young time to develop into the quarterback that he became. No doubt that Steve Young is a superb quarterback but, unlike Manning, he inherited a four-time winning Super Bowl team with the luxury of carrying a clipboard for four years.
humblephil 4 years ago
Manning was immediately thrown into the fire with the Indianapolis Colts, who drafted him with the number one overall pick in the 1998 NFL draft. He inherited a very mediocre franchise that was on the verge of being relocated to another city. Peyton Manning
Manning is also a two-time MVP.
humblephil 4 years ago
Can you tell me what the hell Brady's problem with the Manning brothers is then? The last two years he has lost an 18 POINT LEAD--THE MOST EVER IN A CHAMPIONSHIP GAME--and then this year Eli did what TRUE HOFers do. Lead teams to GAME WINNING TD DRIVES, NOT FG DRIVES. Something that Brady has never done and if he could not do it with this team, he won't ever do it. Brady is owned by the Manning brothers. He is 2-4 in his last 6 games against Peyton and Eli.
humblephil 4 years ago
Brett Favre
Favre has recently set the NFL record for completions by a quarterback (5,021) and is tied for second in wins by a quarterback (with Marino). Favre ended a 29-year drought in Green Bay, by delivering a Super Bowl. He has started in 236 straight games, an NFL record for a quarterback and is the only three-time MVP the NFL has ever had.
humblephil 4 years ago
Dan Marino

Deathsaurx 4 years ago
Which team was undefeated going into the game and the other team having 6 losses?? Are you nuts? The Pats got TOTALLY OUTPLAYED, so don't give me any excuses. The Giants were supposedly a weaker team, that was totally outmanned at every position and yet THEY manhandled the Pats. It was not because the team was confused and a weak Defense. The Giants scored 17 points, which is not that much. The Giants defense was just better and their offense came through in the clutch, again, in the 4th.
humblephil 3 years ago
The Pats just had an off night, Tom Brady and Randy Moss were injured, also the Pats only lost one game, the Giants lost six, so who do you think is better.
Pandamatrix85 3 years ago
Like I said, stop the excuses. The Pats lost not because Brady or Moss were injured...by that time of the year, name player who is NOT injured. The fact that Brady could heave the last second Hail Mary over fifty yards or more shows he was NOT significantly injured at all. The Pats did not have an "off night". They got outplayed. The Giants won 11 games in a ROW on the ROAD, and played in a superior division and conference. The Pats were overrated going into the game and it showed.
humblephil 3 years ago
The last second hail mary was 72 yards, and he only missed because the Giants used pass interference by grabing Moss
Pandamatrix85 3 years ago
EXCUSES, EXCUSES, EXCUSES!!! Pats lost. Moss was NOT hurt, neither was Brady. They just got outplayed in every SINGLE phase....which serves the CHEATERS right.

wow, what did you say?? The point is that Brady never would have won without a cheater for a coach, and one of the most clutch FG kickers in history, who happens to have more SB rings than Tommie does, too LOL!!! You're boy Brady has lost two years in a row to the Mannings, so I would just shut up until he proves he can win again and not choke away 4th quarter leads like he has done the last two season-ending games for the Pats. Also, Eli and Peyton are married, so if anyone is a queer, TB is
humblephil 3 years ago
ok first of all every team in the nfl cheats, they just got caught. second of all Tom Brady is much better than Eli, end of story. And I'm so sick of people saying Tom Brady is gay. Come on. just because hes good looking and everyone likes him doesnt mean hes gay. what the hell. Just because Eli looks gay doesnt mean Tom Brady is too. haha
jmcc202 3 years ago
The point is that the Pats did get caught and then still lied about it straight-faced to the new commish. The Pats got their comeuppance. I can't wait for Moss to quit on your team this year and then see how pathetic Maroney is cuz without the threat of Moss on the field, the Pats offense will STOP completely.
By the way, Jerry Rice caught 22 TDs in 12 GAMES not 23 in 16. Had there been a full season, Rice would have had nearly 30 TD receptions so don't even compare Moss to Rice, either.

chidoxl 4 years ago
I do consider Brady beter than Favre. Brady is a WINNING QB. He wins more than Manning, he wins more QB's than Manning, he has 3 rings and he is only 30 years old. When it all comes down, you want a Quarterback that is going to win you games and SB's
volcomman26 4 years ago
then what happened in this year's SB? who won? brady is a better qb than eli, but he STILL LOST. SB are won by teams not QB alone. DOnt get anal because Brady didnt win this year.

HEY! Dan Marino is one of the best QB's of all time, never won a superbowl. And Brady is 3rd best quaterback of all time. Once he gets that 4th ring he will be on top of the list. (Joe Montana, Terry Bradsahw and Tom brady!)
Derekness22 4 years ago
dick buttkiss. lol thats a real guy
adjunct 4 years ago
Uh, NO he won't be. He will never touch EITHER Montana or Bradshaw because they NEVER LOST A SUPER BOWL. And especially not Joe, as he--Like Eli--actually led a Game Winning TD drive that was culminated by a TD pass not a priss FG. Without a good FG kicker the caliber of Viniatieri, Montana won 4, and the only two that were close were the first and last ones. Amazingly enough Joe Montana's Niners won against Marino and Elway 93-26--against TWO HOF QBs.
humblephil 4 years ago
Are you dense? If you can name 3 NO 1 quater back that is even close to touching tom brady in records brokken, super bowls won AND come backs do i need to mention how mnay come backs Tom Brady led in the regular season and post seaosn +30 and he still has a good 7 or 8 years left in him
Derekness22 4 years ago
Joe Montana
Montana never threw an interception in four Super Bowls. His ability to find the third or fourth option was uncanny. He was the first player ever to win two AP MVP awards. His passing yards were not the highest, but his ability to stay cool under pressure set him above the rest. Not to mention that he has four Super Bowl rings.
humblephil 4 years ago
John Elway
Was considered the perpetual goat until he led his teams to Super Bowl victories in his final two seasons. Elway has the most come from behind victories by any NFL quarterback and has more wins than any other quarterback in NFL history.

AirborneAIDS 4 years ago
yeah okay sure.

I'm a patriot fan, and it's easy to say peyton manning is the best NFL quarterback, look at his yardage for the past few years.

korn65 But you put Manning in at QB for the Pats. He would break Bradys records.????.is that why Brady broke mannings record? The colts lost, get over it.
