I finally got 'The New Centurions' on DVD, on Amazon...but 'Police Story' remains elusive...

The LAPD is probably one of the best conventenial agencies in the US, they have started many programs for law enforcement in the US. Sometimes overshadowed by a few incidents.

I know, I have 2 replica LAPD badges (the world-famous egg-shaped ones with LA City Hall in the middle) that were used as props. I notice that in all of Wambaugh's LAPD movies/shows (Police Story, The New Centurions, The Blue Knight, The Choirboys, The Onion Field and The Glitter Dome) the badges used were similar to what the LAPD had prior to 1940.
