And If I graduate High school with The U.S Naval sea cadet corp on my transcript/resume to the Naval academy will it help me get acceptance, along with outstanding grades and being played a varsity sport?

@MabsActions It depends on the unit that you would be joining. There are a few winter RTs that happen over the course of winter break, yet some units require you to be a part of their unit for a certain amount of time before going to RT. Otherwise, you normally would have to wait until the summer.

@MabsActions I'm afraid you're confused. Your division doesn't host these trainings normally. Instead, there's a website with all of the Sea Cadet trainings available for the summer/winter. There are different locations around the country for certain trainings whereas others are extremely exclusive. You should have no problem finding an MAA or Airman training close to where you live.

@marinediverhm no problem buddy. make sure your whites are perfectly creased when you get there, i made that mistake, ugh bad memorys. stay clear of liuetenant weekly, you'll probably get his class on leadership which should be VERY interesting. just remember to say "my apologies sir" instead of sorry. the foods great. honestly just do what they tell you to do and keep your mouth shut and you should be good. oh and dont worry if you get giligan company, its all political anyway

I was in ALPHA company and our CC (company comander) and our OIC (officer in charge) were very laid back so we didnt do much.

once agian im sorry if im wrong in telling you how it will be but we were not allowed to talk to other companies, so im not sure how bad or easy they had it.

To go to Boot camp you need to pass all the Pre reqs. the IST 1.5 miles, pullups and crunches... I became a marine about 2 years ago and the ONLY thing i heard they changed was that you need to have your wisdom teeth pulled as a pre req as well. Because i still have mine, They put me on Second class dental put its still deployable.

anyways, thats what you need to be a marine... also your DIPLOMA unless your a "Special Waiver"
