I might've just sucked at Half Life, but I found this fight to be very hard. I shot all the crystal things, then I thought I had to jump up to that highest cliff in order to win, but I kept getting killed or teleported while trying to do that. After an hour or so of dying and screaming at my computer, I just turned on noclip and god modded my way out of it.

I recently completed Half Life my first time (never bought it before XD) and I completed it on hard and the final hit was made with the crowbar!!

Of course it cost me 10times as many savegames as necessary and 15 hours gaming, but It was awesome!!! Can't wait for Black Mesa!!!! :D

It's the high definition pack which came with Blue Shift (when installed worked with HL1 and Op For aswell). Since the shift to steam you don't need Blue Shift to activate it. I don't think you even need to download anything extra, now. You just activate it from here : steam://installaddon/halflifeh­d

(If that doesnt work. Go to the Steam website. Click Support and search for "High Definition". Then click on "Installing the Half-Life Hi-Def Model Pack")

because the nihilanth can regain its energy thru it (nihilanth = boss) and the thing u call "energy" crystal is acctually called Xen Crystal

Those energy orbs around him? He uses those to use his "Multi spark" and "Xen Portal" attacks, as well as healing himself. He uses the crystals to regenerate these orbs.
