@poyani Sheer ignorance. Of course, Farsi has a 'j'. But the name Ahmadinezhad doesn't have one, it is spelt with the letter 'zha', like the French 'j', hence the confusion. 'Omam' is an Arabic plural for the word omma, and it means 'nations', not 'nation' as you wrote. 'Kard' is not just the past tense. After a word like 'bayad' or 'khwahad' it acts like an infinitive. Look up 'qal' o qam'' in a good dictionary (two separate words, 'extermination' and 'battering').

Also "Ahmaqhinejad" is sort of a pub. The name Ahmadinejad is made of two words. Ahmad, which I think is one of the many names used for Mohammed and "nejad" which means "son of". "Ahmaqh" means retard.

I apologize for the slip about no 'j', I meant to say that the name Ahmadinezhad is written without a 'j' (jim). But I know all the rest, so please don't go on explaining obvious things. Use a proper dictionary, where you will find both qal' and qam'. Qal' comes from an Arabic verb qala'a, to exterminate; qal' is from another Arabic word, 'suppression, repression'.

One more thing. You claimed that "Omam" is an Arabic plaural for the word Omma" (I think you mean Umma).
Ahmadinejad is not an Arab. Also Omma does not mean "nation". In Farsi it means something along the line of "Islamic community". Plural of Omma in Farsi (which is meaningless) would be Ommaha. Islamic Umma is redundant.
"Qal" is not a farsi word. "O" is colloquial for "and"; it is never used in speeches. "Qam" mean sadness.

@poyani Oh, God. Please learn about your language. About 50% of Farsi comes from Arabic. You use Arabic words every time you open your mouth, and so does Ahmadinezhad. Use a basic dictionary, and you'll see that omma (for Persian pronunciation) or umma (for Arabic) means 'nation' or 'people', whatever other meanings it may have, and its plural is umam or omam. Qal' appears in all good Farsi dictionaries, a does qam'. If you won't look up a dictionary, what use are you for a discussion like this?

@MacEoin I agree that 'O' is colloquial, but that was my transliteration: it may as well be written 'va' if you prefer. Big difference. Qal' may mean sadness, but it has other meanings: again, look this up in a dictionary. Qal' va qam' together mean something like 'to destroy completely'.

@zwergie4444 Over the years, Dershowitz has done a lot of pro bono work, representing clients who can't even afford a lawyer. The press focuses on his celebrity clients or the notorious ones. By representing people who might not get a fair trial, Dershowitz helps maintain a high standard of legal justice. It is an enormous mistake to say that he is 'a sick human being' because he defends certain people. That would mean all criminal lawyers are evil because they defend murderers, paedophiles etc
