Call it nostalgia etc but I don't actually think doing this match like this was too bad- not a huge fan of the 'we're not the wwf- we don't hit women' comment though because that was basically saying that all woman's matches were pointless in wcw (which they were).
It's ok to have a few matches like this, just as long as it wasn't every week which is perhaps a problem wcw had

I really hate it when the few booked intergender matches end with a kiss spot or something similar. It makes all participants look STUPID! If they let Chris Benoit and Madusa choreograph this match, it would have blown the main event out of the water. And why was the Benoit match in the recap a cage match?
