I have to ask the question: the "old guys" show us how to do it but why can't some guys ever seem to get it right? Is it the quality of the tools or the hands that use the tool?

Got news for ya...these are frustrating as hell...and enjoy the cheap blade that gets knarled up with the least of hardwork. Also please dont think the size of the cutter will match the size of the dowel.....it will not....every dowel needs a 16th off of its measure.

I got the 3/4 box.....and it's not as instant as it looks....at all. Tear out, frustrating.....made in Taiwan. Not impressed with something that really should be as easy as this vid fools you into thinking.

Not shit. I have the 3/4" and the 1" and neither work at all, lots of tear out.

Great video on these simple, yet very useful, little tools.

I've been looking to find one of these kits (1" kit just like demonstrated) for under $25 for over a year now... just missed out on a used one on ebay a few weeks back for $21...other than that, no such luck.
