What is the AccessPort Stage 1 map ? I have a 2004 WRX and I really really like the sound of the MadDad(TM) Turboback Exhaust but.. im wondering if there's will be a big difference regarding the sound if its on my Stock WRX than on that STI... thanx somebody, for answering! hi, i have a 2005 wrx stock, its very quiet, i want to change the muffler, i dont want a really loud one, is the as quiet as the come.. and would i have to change any stock parts. like the down or up pipe, im a female, and i dont know too much about these things:)

fist of all changing just the muffler fpr spunds is basically a waste of money and it will give you a bad image. so what you should really do is, find a local tuner shop thats familiar with subaru's and ask them to get you an after market up pipe, downpipe and a catback then tell them to dyno tune ur car. this way you will gain some power and have your car sounding the way you want too. good luck.

throaty exhausts can only be pulled off on some cars, I think the STi is one of them. So is the WRX but the DON'T of the WRX is to make it look like an STi, thats just plain h@x0r1ng

Loudest exhaust is cheep. Like 50 bucks. Go to an exhaust shop, cut off all your exhaust from the cat-back, and have a piece of 3" pipe installed to shoot out in front of the rear tire. haha

06-07 WRX with a 2.5l engine can hang with a stock STi if it's stage 2. But Tuned and Tuned, of course STi will kill Wrx.

I have a 96 Daewoo Racer GT (Pontiac Lemans GT in US and Canada) with the 2.0 Lts original engine (is a spetial edition 2.0 anly for latin america) and since a year ago its twin turbo, of course, the engine is forged, but do you like the idea of a Daewoo with 584HP? 512WHP I won vs a Subaru Impreza STI 2007 and a toyota MR2 twin turbo... yeah in a Daewoo!!

It's difficult to rate HP of just a catback exhaust because the WRX and STi are totally choked before the catback. HP increases will vary with the choice of donwpipe and dyno tuning(if any). This exhaust is a full 3" catback and has no 'tapers' to 2.5" like the many 3" cabacks that are out their. I know of one customer that pushes 400 wheel horsepower on an awd drive dyno. that equates to about 500hp at the crank, so to that extent we know this flows well enough in support of those #.
