@MrDubja ....Back then, no traffic, no cell phones, no distractions, no fatalities. Same car today? Caput....Different times.... I wish I owned an old fiat or any vintage classic car.
I like the design of this, though the crash worthiness must be pretty rank. I prefer European cars to American on the whole, more effort seems to go into the design .
The Multipla was a very interesting concept when it was launched. A kind of ancestor of family vans, 30 years later. It'a true collector now. One in very good condition is around 15000 Euros.
Brilliant. Makes me want to plan a trip to Italy to track one down!
TweedleDee, I remember being on a bus in in San Francisco a few years back and almost wetting myself when I saw an Isetta 600 waiting at a set of traffic lights! Here in the UK I've only ever seen one of those at micro car shows. I also actually flagged down a bloke in an Isetta 300 in SF on another occasion, (I used to own one of those).
Check out Isetta 600s if you've never seen one. LG.
@silkdestroyer - Yes, I like the 600s also. I've only seen one or two in my life though. The 300 seems to be more common (coming from someone who really doesn't know much about the Isetta).
@TweedleDee1 how can you like these?!. I know people that go round sayin 'or, these are way better than the sharan alahmbra, and galaxy', they dont come close!
@silkdestroyer I know what you mean, but I'm not too keen on most fiats (500 is very nice, I have a slideshow from a car show with a 500 on ((watch it)) BTW, what does LG mean?
So cute!

It's kinda ugly at first glance... but I can really grow on a person. Certainly better then the contemporary one.

@VOLVORULEZ1995 I like these in part because I'm in the USA and we very rarely see these type of cars. Wish we had more micro cars here.

@TweedleDee1 Have you seen the Ford Galaxy? Not the big American Muscle cars, but the MPV's?

@TweedleDee1 Hi. I've just checked and there are videos of Isetta, (BMW) 600s. Have a look. I think that you'll like them, LG.

@VOLVORULEZ1995 Are you having a laugh? This is the 1960s Multipla, not the 1990s version! LG.
