@jo25182518 I'm going to agree with you hear, i never saw a problem with good old johnny. the only people that didnt like him were the doll bludgers who didnt work and hated him cause he never gave out money. during the financial crisis australia was in the best position financially THANKS to john howard. rudd was able to do the money hand outs because howard introduced GST, thats where the money came from

When oil runs out there will be massive food shortages many will die but this wont happen when oil runs out it will start happening quite along time before oil runs out as prices go up farmers go broke and can no longer keep running their farm and to make matters worse lots of Aus farmland gets sold to china.

@coonalishus the only problem about finding another energy source is money .. money that farmers dont have, i saw the top gear episode with the hydrogen car but tractors are abit difrent to cars take alot more power to run. The point was ppl are so worried about whats gonna happen from elections rather then whats gonna happen when china owns all our farming land.

@Sipifok how is china going to own OUR farming land. china has no land. that country is still growing. tractors arnt that different from cars. they have wheels, and an engine. that top gear hydrogen car had its own hydrogen generator. a tractors one would just have to be alot bigger.

@coonalishus Farmers go broke and they end up desprate to sell and they get an offer from someone in china and they take it, it was on the news china has bought a few billion dollars worth of australias land. Since alot of them are going broke and as oil prices go up by the time they think about going hydrogen (if thats the future) they wont be able to afford it. Hydrogen is all new to our world making a hydrogen tractor will have some issues

@Sipifok whats the problem with the chinese buying our farming land. if the're good and employ good people to work, and do a good job i got no problem with it. but if they don't do a good job we're fucked i agree. But oil prices will never go up HEAPS. the reason is cause if they do go up too much, more people will buy shitty hybrids like the toyota prius. they use less fuel, so less money is spend on buying petrol, which means a bad quarterley statement for those rich oil tycoons.

@coonalishus The problem imo is if china owns too much of australian land then that sorta gives them power over Aus. I never got as far as actually finding out what they do with the land they buy, its just such a long term thing can never know for sure what might happen, future will tell all.

That was pretty good for a laugh! I agree that Swan is pretty scripted, same with Rudd, but why does that matter? At least they answer the questions being asked, as opposed to Abbott, who will try and shit-talk out of a sticky situation. Sometimes I can't understand how he gets away with his stupidity
