Government directed prayer is just as dangerous to that religion/all religions as it is to nonbelievers. It serve to only to grant more power to a handful of police/prayer makers. Thank you. It's easy to be angry at or just make fun of this stuff, but the sad fact is that this joker is actually a candidate of office for one of the most powerul positions on Earth. And the argument he puts forward, however failed and ludicrous that it is, is used by many of his fellow fundamentalists, and as such, is dangerous. So I found myself needing to approach it seriously.
