@preecejon Hold down ctrl key and press a number key (1, 2 3, etc). Then to select that group you press the assigned number key. Red alert 2 was the awesomeness of awesome.

I dunno if you've gotten an answer yet, so here goes:

If you've downloaded it off of the EA site, you'd need WinRAR or WinZip

to unzip the file. After that it's ready to play. Don't even need to install it or anything.

I just downloaded the free 40 day WinRAR trial ;D

Haven't played this but the interface seems identical to Red Alert 2. The series seems to have started to get cheesy from this point on til the current C&C games like C&C 3 and the Red Alert 4. C&C1 & Red Alert 1 are by far the best of the lot.

It's more something like "Run as administrator". But for some reason, whenever I create buildings, the game slows down a little until the production is complete and the game runs normal again. Ha, why do I care, I can blow the shit out of a Nod base with a Mammoth Mk.II again! YEEHAW! 8D

the scale in the new c&c is off imo, if it was the same as in this game it would have been alot better, even small maps in this game had alot of detail and space

You know you can build up to 5 units on this.. and imo I think Tiberium Warsi s better, it has more units, more buildings, better graphics, and in my eyes better gameplay. No one wants to admit that EA did just as good as Westwood. Only better parts in this game is the faster paced gameplay and building the gates/walls
