Sometimes it's a broken neck, sometimes it's severe brain damage. The flopping around in circles makes brain damage more likely. I saw a program on Animal Planet of a Opossum that got hit by a car and its brain was damaged to the point where it wouldn't stop spinning in circles in its cage at the vet. Sad, sad sight.
Put it in the exhaust of the fully sick commonwhore that goes past... Alternatively just see what happens in 10 mins and if still no good put it out of its misery.
