Pay attention to what marcus does about 6:16. A hard snare roll and a quickslide off and release into cymbals. He does this same thing with all the drums. He's got some new stuff here. If you call it stuff. And he does it routinely in the shows. Havent heard too many others to this.s

when i first heard marcus with vijay iyer i didn't know anything about him, but his playing was so refreshing to hear, his sense of playing time is truly amazing and so elastic, he is truly beyond his years. go marcus!!!!!!
