I'm not usually a fan of "remixes" of the classics. Can't stand Bach on a piano, so forth. But this performance is just stunning. For one thing, it's played perfectly. That never hurts. But more interesting, the instruments seem to agree perfectly with the original music, while creating a new atmosphere. It's not music for the royal fireworks anymore, I can't really place where it belongs. But I love it. Thanks!
