Using the GCX and Ground Control Pro #2 (alternative instant access patches)

the M13 is controlled by the GCX through a MIDI cable (5 pin active) from the "MIDI THRU" on my MARSHALL JVM.

the commands for the M13 can be acquired from Line 6's website. search the M13 under products, then downloads.. it will be a list of commands that will correspond with my video's instructions.

Hey man, first off I wanted to say thanks for posting the informative videos. Second, I wanted to ask how you found the MIDI commands for your M13, and last I was wondering how you have the M13 hooked up to the GCX? Is it MIDI or just TRS?

I recently bout the whole Ground Control and GCX set up and Im trying to figure out how to route and program everything. Any help or wisdom you could offer would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and God Bless!!!

Great Vid! I just got the GCX and GC Pro and am considering the M13. Question, hope I can make sense. I want to do the 4 presets and instant access; I'm using 3 amps and 3 pedals with the GCX. That leaves me two spots, one for the M13. Can my presets control the GCX loops without taking up the Instant Access spots? So the 4 presets turn my amps on, I have 3 buttons for pedals and the other 8 for M13? Also, can 1 Instant Access button recall a whole M13 scene? Or just a single effect?

GREAT VID. Answered a lot of questions on how to program useing the instant access buttons and patches. how about if you just want to use it with just presets? how do you program it then?
