yea us as christians always got somthing to say against somebodis ministry because they have a big name. check yourself and be happy that God has you in his grace. im so tired of the person that thinks that having abundance automatically devalues your ministry. get a grip and betta yet get some scripture. i love all and i want us all to make it and none of us perfect so we need to edify eachother so thats why i wrote this post. if you see any fault in me with this then plz let me know. TYJ!!!
Wassup, fam, you asked us to check scripture on your given topic...
So what are thoughts on Mark 10:17-29, where Jesus told the rich man to give all he had, and said it easier for a camel to go thru the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingodm of God? Does that not cite at least one instance where abundance can devalue ministry? Just asking in love, no diss. Grace and Peace.
well see that scripture not in the context of Ministry, it's in the concept of being saved in the first place. when you are in the world and are faced with the option of following Christ, if you already have riches and an entitled life, then it is very hard to forsake ALL, and in that scripture that is exactly the situation. God wanted him to forsake all and follow him, but he couldn't because his things had become his God.
but back to my comment, it is not wrong for us as saints to be rich and blessed, in fact it is Gods will that are. remember, he came to give us life and life more abundant. and he also wants us to be the lender and not the borrower. amen somebody!!! lol
I totally that in Christ we are blessed and prosperpous.. But does that always refer to temporal/material things, and should that apply to everyone? Consider John the Baptist, who Jesus said to be the greatest of all men under the Old Covenant. Yet when we examine his life, he gave up and lost way more materially and socially than he gained, which was just fine with him. For it was who said, "I must decrease, so that Christ can increase." Paul also sought to be content, whether rich or not
Grace and peace to the elect active in the preaching of the `gospel of Jesus Christ.
like the rest of you i love these songs for they are not originated from man but the Spirit truly leads these brothers to sing for Gods people.
you wont find me listening to these big time gospel artists that defame the name of the LORD for they are as worldly as the world. now this is true Christian music, every song is a Bible study. Praise God.
yeah "in adam all die" from adam to us we are dead in sin. but heed the good news, "Jesus is alive" lol its still trip me dat two songs match each other like dat
I missed this?! :(
We're cursed from our birth, sinning from the beginning...
We need to be changed by the Word of God.
Thank God that He sent His son... we are redeemed.

My favorite song on the Atonement album.
We're cursed from our birth,
sinners from the beginning,
from womb to the tomb,
depraved to the grave
astray everyday,
every breath brings death,
In Adam all die,
In Adam all die

I love this guy. His songs are theological and not that lame life music a lot of Christian rappers get into.
