@sooooooooDark The only song in this album that appears anywhere in Evangelion is "Thanatos - If I can't be yours", which is what separates the two halves of the End of Evangelion. Other than that none of the other songs are used.

@sooooooooDark Well most of the songs seem related to Eva, but the reason it actually exists I don't know. Maybe Gainax just thought music like this was popular at the time, or maybe the group offered to do it. Who knows.
