This isn't bad parenting.. I no you were being sarcastic but 'bad parenting' would be like a parenting taping there kid eating a fireball or something.. Your just taping your kid walking and he falls. That happens to EVERY baby.
Please... that's not bad parenting. I agree, they have to fall so they can learn to get up. So long as the fall isn't extreme, like down stairs or off the couch or something, and as long as the parents are right there ready to respond if their child really DOES get hurt, no harm no fool. Let them learn. It's true we learn faster from mistakes, after all...

The helmet isn't for when people's chutes don't open per se, it's for times when inexperienced divers open the chute a little too late or end up in a tree or something out of the norm.
