As an american im typically supposed to love the F-22 and think the SU-35 is a POS. But no that is not the case. Id much rather have the sukhoi. Sexy as hell to look at,deadly,reasonably priced for countries who cant afford the overated POS we call the F-35 and require something thats deadly and able to fill the void for ground attack aircraft. Dont get me wrong though. I like the raptor but considering the problems it has. I'll take an SU-35 any day of the week. Good video as well.

The F22 Raptor, so far, is probably still at the top when it comes to Beyond Visual Range Combat.

But yes, it will fall when it gets in range of the Super Flanker.

Logically, you really have to take the Su-35 over the Raptor any day of the week, as the Raptor requires 30 hours of maintenance for every hour of flight. I think even the F15 Eagle would put more of a fight against the Super Flanker than the Raptor will. :-)

What is funny is all of you laughing at the quantity of these fighters are being bought by the Russian military. Sorry but they don't need as many as the US since they are not ALWAYS at war. The US does need thousands of planes because they are always bombing someone. Russia keeps their nose clean so they don't need to spend trillions on defense like the US does. Russia has created some great jet fighters but for some reason they have failed to keep up with American performance. American aircrafts have performed so much better. Even French aircrafts do better than Russian fighters. You might throw in the pilot factor but I don't buy that excuse. Lets see how these new jets perform.

What do you mean 'perform better'? You mean historically, like in the Yugoslavian wars, and Gulf War? tbh, in those wars it wouldn't make a difference whether they were mig-29s or f-16s. Iraq and Serbia would have lost either way, for a lot of reasons that I don't have room to explain.

Just to name a few things, Russian planes have a MUCH better design. They are by far the most maneuverable planes in the world. Russian radars and AAMs are also the best in the world as of now.
