Parents should have the right to vote for educated professionals that determine the cooriculum for their children. They shouldn't have the right to decide what specific information is taught. They aren't qualified to make such a decision. There's a reason it takes several years to earn a degree. It's like a parent demanding that their children learn in health class that jumping up and down after sex is a form of birth control.
is anyone else disturbed by the excessive presence of walls and fences, even barbed wire in schools as seen in this series? *Especially* when the supposed of idea open-mindedness is so casually thrown about inside? It's not their fault specifically, it's just disturbing in general that a society is so cavalier about setting up physical manifestations of segregation.
typical catholic response, try and turn the discussion to suit themselves then play the victim card, it's sickening, and some of my family wonder why I never bought into it, catholics are a bunch of whiners!
Parents have the freedom, but education should not have the freedom to spread falsehood! They should only have the freedom to choose between what's true
Wow! I'm glad we doesn't have any faith schools in Denmark!
