@ComradeDragon you have to buy a bigger Ultrasonic Cleaner and then a bigger one to clean that one, basically an endless supply of bigger and bigger cleaners
is this safe to clean 7 inch vinyl records ? I got some (rare and collectable ) pieces that have collected dirt, dust, glue, tobacco smoke, some seem to be used as dinner plates, for over 30 years..
@theshadow1932 Yes you can absolutely use an ultrasonic for that purpose, what I do is clean as much investment out with a dental pick first then place the raw casting in the ultrasonic to finish and it works well.
Helpful video: however, in your foil test the ultrasonic cavitation should imprint the foil in 30 seconds. After two to three minutes the foil will be shredded to pieces and you'd be unable to see the real pattern of energy.
Thanks for spreading the word about ultrasonic cleaning!
Absolutely! In the tattoo industry ultrasonics are used much like the dental industry for cleaning prior to sterilization and keeping tips clean.
Some artists will keep a small unit next to them throughout their work to keep their tools clean. You can find ultrasonics at most tattoo supply companies such as Bicknee Tattoo.
I have a rolex and I am afraid to put it inside this liquid. My question is: will this liquid or the whole machine as a whole damage my rolex? thanks

that would work great on a gun

My fear is that records might deform due to the temperature of the water

Dumb question. Can you use this (without cleaner of course) to wash fruit and vegetables? I've heard ultrasonic cleaners are good for that?

Would this be appropriate for cleaning residual investment from raw castings or should a vibrating cleaner with a dry medium be used?
Thanks,
Norm

These may make them clean, but do they dry your glasses for you or just washing them? (maybe by warm air or something like that)

@Akiin261o you have to manually dry objects afterwards

will this work for tattoo equipment
CreatureerutaerC 3 years ago
Yes, I use for dentistry. But doesn't dismiss the process to make the equipment esterile.

@CreatureerutaerC
No, since tattoo equipment requires sterilizers that go up to extreme temperatures and extreme pressures to kill everything that is a pathogen.
