  • Will this work on a Nexus S 4G?? The Nexus has no SD card... Just internal memory... What about task management? I've noticed the Nexus S has no default to do list or task management application... Can you recommend on that works best with Dejaoffice/ChompanionLink? Thanks!

  • @JonathanRoseland1985 We are able to sync to the Nexus S 4G - it actually has an internal card we can mount. As for to do's, DejaOffice (our free Android app) handles those. Just set up your sync and use DejaOffice to manage and maintain yours tasks. Check it out now from the Android Market. And feel free to give CompanionLink a run-through with our 2-week trial. Hope that helps!

  • is it syncing locally , so just between your android phone and your pc?

  • @dwilmer7 Yes - sync via USB is entirely local. Your data is never transferred through any servers.

  • Thanks a lot; it comletely works! :)

  • How to copy(or turn..) Dejacontacts on phone contacts??

  • Es posible sincronizar Outlook 2007 con Tablet Galaxy Android 2.2.?

    Contactos, tareas, calendario y notas?

  • Very clunky if you are migrating to Android from Windows mobile but seems to be the best option at the moment. Struggles with formatting and outlook features - recurring appointments for instance. Why is it so hard to have a plug and dynamic sync environment like windows? Turn on CL, then turn on deja and on the S II you have to turn on the USB - much, much too hard.

  • CL sync problems vanished after I ran Microsoft's scanpst.exe to fix corrupted outlook.pst file. CL is clunky, but AFAIK it's the only solution that reliably copies to device but without passing content over internet.

  • Next time turn off the annoying background music when you're speaking! Otherwise a good presentation.

  • Will this work with Droid 2 by Motorola?

  • @tglionna Yes, absolutely. CompanionLink works with any Android OS device.

  • @tglionna Sure will!

  • I too had difficulty with CompanionLink software. For those with EVO phones, simply use HTC sync. It's flawless when syncing Outlook data to EVO.

  • @greatkdo Sorry to hear you were having trouble with CompanionLink. If you want to let me know what was going on, I should be able to offer some help!

  • @greatkdo I just got my phone - it is an EVO - where is the HTC sync is it an app or something similar?

  • Does this work on x64 windows 7 with office 2010 x64 version installed?

  • @FedericoJimbo Sure does :)

  • i am an information systems analyst and i took like 3 days trying to figure out this crap on my android and actually i will uninstall it. Avoid it at all cost as my system is super super slow and all after i was able to figure out PART of it and fix things here and there but in the end, its crap

  • I consider myselt to be pretty savvy with stuff like this, perhaps I'm just that 1 time it won't work although that seldom happens to me. But this app gave me nothing but headaches-I even followed this video to be sure-fortunetly I created a back-up .pst file and a system restore was able to fix the problems this created. Glad I got the 2-week trial instead of paying for it

  • Hallelujah! I spent over a week trying to get this worked out. This nifty program will enable me to keep my Evo. THANK YOU!!
