you suck in trying to test these. sorry about that but you compare different things, also different versions, also different settings and on top of everything, you test on macOS . The truth between these processors is that the c2duo makes easier tasks faster, the i7 makes the most complex things faster (like encoding, hyper threading, post processing etc) but is slower on more simple tasks

Have you ever tried tweaking them to their peak then u do again the tests. They have differences in specs and so it would be hard to figure which is faster

make a new video, but this time, make sure both computers are loaded with the same OS, and also make sure that there are no passwords that interfere with the boot up.

Also, make sure the applications are the same version, makes no sense to open different versions of an application to benchmark.

Please post the full specs of each system in your description in order to have a better idea. Hard drive rpm, ram/ram clock, i7 clock speed, etc.. etc..
