I found it very odd that Mulroney was cast in this movie after being in My Best Friend's Wedding. I think that the director knew exactly what he was doing when he cast him in this film. Mulroney's biggest work is in My Best Friend's Wedding and it only makes sense to have him in another wedding movie after women fell in love with him in a similar movie. It is funny, if you watch him in both movies and the way he interacts with the women it is very similar.
