Hey, I asked you anout this one a few weeks ago, right after I bought Allure Homme Sport . I can't wait to buy this one, it's my next fragrance. Hopefully I'll have enough money to buy it this weekend. I always get excited when I've picked out my next fragrance. I cant wait to add it to my collection! Thanks MyMickers!
This is absolutely perfect in the Las Vegas heat. After putting it on initially, the lemon/ginger bomb just screams, it reminded me of a Kentucky Fried Chicken lemon wet-nap or a nice chicken marinade. I started to worry, but after two hours this one really amps up the creaminess and harmonizes SO WELL with the lemon, my god and just warms out and evens more as the day goes on. Lasts forever (12-14 hours), its a projection bomb on me, and is damn masculine.
Dior Homme and Dior Homme Sport are both wonderful fragrances. Really really good but sadly so expensive *snifling and crying a bit*... no I'm not crying. lol
This fragrance os so nice but very similar to chanel homme sport, which do you prefer? I think Dior homme sport is abit sharper or crisper on the notes.
@MyMickers 8 hours later and honestly I have changed my mind LOL!! dior homme sport on my skin now smells like any other cologne but chanel allure homme sport has retained alot of the same unique notes except, both are now very close to the skin.
@MyMickers My chanel allure homme sport sample is the cologne version in a clear bottle so may the EDT in a grey bottle which is obviously more concentrated will work even better.
Dan, is that note spelled, "Machy?" The perfumer is Francois Demachy, dont know if there was a misprint somewhere in the place you got the note breakdown.
This is a really nice lightly spicy citrus scent. I like it a lot. Thanks for the review, Dan. You the man!

i have Dior Homme Intense which i love but its so damn expensive & i get the weird lipstick type note that people go on about, but with it being a parfum it last a good 8-10hrs on me.
I generally despise fragrances with lemon or lime or both but I find this a very well done lemon and the addition of ginger really balances the notes quite well so it's more tolerable to me. I enjoy it for the summer but in the winter it's awesome!
I see you enjoy ginger. I myself love the vibrancy from ginger in a frag, you should check out Bvlgari BLV. Awesome fragrance, and the flanker BLV Notte is pretty damn good too. Both of these don't get much love, but both are pretty unique and great. BLV is one of my all time best compliment getters from the ladies too :)
Not sure where you got that note, and I was quite curious. I gained this snippet from the net "The nose behind this fragrance is Francois Demachy", so maybe that got mixed in with the notes where you did your research.

I had this one for 3 months now. For me,It doesn't last too long on me which is a issue. But it depends really, somedays I got the ginger smell for hours even all day. But somedays I just got the sweetness and the lemony smell, and it only lasts about 2 hours . But if it can last me a long time, it is defintaly a great frangrance.

i still kinda get some of the lipstick/makeup bag smell but not as prominent as dior homme or the intense... i dunno im probably crazy lol
