  • Oh shes hot! Yes ma'am ill do whatever you say.

  • Cool drill. Will try that the next time I'm by the tennis wall thing.

  • excellent job. simple, clear, concise and perfectly executed

  • Incorrect, in a first step wall drill, the heal on the driving leg should be underneath her rear with the toe dorsi-flexed, when bringing the foot strike down the leg/hip drive should be placed directly down the starting position. It's a first step drill not a stride drill.

  • shes hot and very fit :)

  • love a well spoken woman with great diction who works out.. i will try those drills thanx

  • Proper body positions and proper angle positions. hmmmm

  • What the hell was this video about again?!?!!?....lol...

bend in the knees for power. There's no speed in straight knees... But good drill otherwise...

  • She can get it, Just after the workout tho lol Gotta train first hahahaha !!!!

  • so flat

  • i don't even know what she said she's just cute

  • so that will help with explosive acceleration? How many sets of the final progression once technique has been mastered?

How many reps of 10-15 second bursts, recovery period between each rep? recovery period between each set?

I need to improve my first 5-10 yards so this looks good to do it :)

  • this bitch will get it.

  • your ignorant.

  • SORRY NOBODY WANTS YOU

  • she is to close to the wall its a 45degree angle during the acc. phase she is to tall.

  • robbty18 said it best. IMO this is a fad drill developed by somebody with that "deconstruct the movement" mindset and then adopted and spread by overly-clinical HOBBYISTS. common sense would tell you her "punch" is most closely related to "high-stepping" and has zip to do with developing max speed or "force production" as she states. but good try, Coach Deanna! better to train people according to your PERSONAL experience.

  • How is this a "fad drill" it's mimicking the knee punch and drill for proper acceleration mechanics? This was a drill Loren Seagrave put into the Velocity Sports Performance program. If you don't know who Loren is then you better look it up. As for robbty18, how do you produce the force into the ground in the first place? You need a high knee punch to be able to produce more force into the ground. The only thin Deanna is doing wrong in this drill is her body position, which should be at 45 deg.

  • yo this broad is fine. i better not catch her on my street

  • =\ nice

  • @fl1ghtskool But because you are a foul swine, you can wanna all you want. You will never get a pretty fit girl like that. So keep drooling

  • You create force from the foot into the ground under the hips. If your foot strike is powerful enough, the leg will fire upward. Their isn't any lifting or "punching" involved at all.

This drill enforces lifting from the hip flexors and not working on force production into the ground from the foot leading to shortened hip flexors and poor running mechanics/posture in my opinion.

  • thanx ill try it in the summer

  • so for maximal acceleration you would want to maintain maximal flexility in the hips, ie getting higher than parralel to the ground, what is the reasoning for only doing the limited range of motion here?
