If you fill a balloon with acetylene/propane and poke it with a nail that is on fire, the resulting "fireball" is what I want to see. I want to see how the fire propagates through the gas in the balloon, I am sure you have seen water balloons being popped, same sort of concept but with fire.

I need to ask you something. Is there a reason some movie cameras are so expensive? There's this one Panasonic Camera, (it's on the site), it's like 51k and it records 1080-30p. It's big and expensive.

So why is the small Panasonic HS700K only 1300 bucks, when it records 1080-60p and has a 120 GB HDD? I realize that maybe the HDD might compress the video, but can't you record straight to your computer? Is the 50k difference due to the big lense and manual settings? What's the reason?

@DeathSkwid There is a lot that goes into a camera. There are differences in lenses recording compression and and and. But the reality is that in the opinion of many people a $2000 camera now is as good as many $100,000 cameras from 20 years ago. The biggest issue for me is the lens and the chip size, they rule.
