i like how its basically only a few tricks and variations but done with style in different forms. breaking it down its basically propeller, stop overs, tick tock variations, tosses, and hand stick flair. love that things can be very entertaining and dont need to get too technical. oh, and shiny tape, XD lol think i need to make some longer hand sticks. mine are about 1/3 that size ><

I learned the very basics of using devil sticks, In some ways the basic bouncing back and forth of the stick is easy, but making it look good is a lot harder. And making it all LOOK easy, like you are doing takes a LOT of skill. I am impressed.

Amazing skills. I used to make my own all the time when I was younger. Even had a pair with wicks on the ends to light on fire. Watching this makes me wanna buy a quality set and hone my skills. Months of training to get this good folks

Faster then I do it, must be lighter sticks then what I work with. mind you most of the time I get it going and then just use one stick.

These are usual Devil-Sticks, you can get them in every juggling shop. I only adapt them very little. :)

They are made of elastic, rubber, and metal i think in some.

Some have leathers.

I am only 12 and i have used Crystal Stix which are very similar and they look so hard but so easy! They arent floating trust me :D

Because it implies a degree of consciousness that is high, at least in terms of physical awareness, but I don't think you can get that high without it infecting your entire life.

@ccheryyy devil sticks are tapered with no weight on the ends, flower sticks have a flower on the end, fiddlestix have a tassle on the end... it's all just sticks, anything with a long axis and a center of gravity can be 'sticked'

I think I will just be totally unsatisfied with any devil sticks performance until I see the only epic ending even possible for such an act: Throwing the dual sticks up 30 ft in the air, performing a triple axle, and then just fucking SWALLOWING them right there on the stage when they come down. apparently he can do some things that furtner cannot do.

and he has a lot of precision. but i still think markus furtner is better. two-staged double piruettes from and into double propeller, noone except him does anything like that. when we only look at the stuff with one devilstick, i think this looks better than what furtner does.

anyways, amazing skills, being close to the best one on the planet still means that you are damn good.
