@cyahna9 it's an x stage, it's a free standing pole that relies on weights to hold it up, not the ceiling. It's always gonna wobble a bit, but if it's put up right with the weights, it shouldn't be a problem :D

This pole is on Static mode. Kinda depends on what kind of pole material it is. Brass and Titanium are grippier and Stainelss Steel will be the least grippy.

I bought an additional top pole piece to cut down to fit inside a house. That leaves me 7' of pole to work on in an 8' ceiling home. Set up outside for now ;)

Our pole dancing society has a x stage that we use for performances, however as with all podium poles the top wobbles when you get to the top-not always ideal for learning new moves-and you cant really brace it to the ceiling. If you are at home i would suggest getting an x pole, much more practical for in your home as it folds away smaller, is lighter etc. And it can be set to rotate!!!! And you are not wasting precious pole space by having the stage there.

I want a pole for home but Im not sure what to get I like the idea of having a stage but I want to do pretty advanced tricks do you think a x-pole would be better? Can you brace the x-stage to the ceiling like you can the pole?

Also what do you think of the 45mm compared to the 50? Ive only ever used 50 but I have really small hands so I was wondering if buying a 45 would be better? Do they have an x-stage in 45mm? XOX

When i got a 45mm pole i found that grip with my hands was no different-i have pretty small hands but i did find things like cross ankle release harder as i wasn't used to gripping a pole that size...having said that you would get used to it within a few weeks but as most classes you will go to use 50mm you will also need to get used to having to go back and forth from 50mm to 45mm. Hope that was helpful!! xxx

Even though this doesn't appear to be a formal routine, you still look wonderfully graceful as you do the moves. You've got great lines & a nice fluid style. I've gotta say though - I'm just feeling a bit freaked out for you because your stage looks so close to the stairs behind you! (There've been times I've dismounted off the pole & took a step forward...which in this case might be off the stage!)
