Honestly, I wouldn't get this amp. Well, that's not entirely true, because I already did. For $100, it isn't bad, but how good could you actually expect it to be at that price? It does allow for a range of styles, but it doesn't do any particularly well, especially clean. It never is fully clean, and can't do anything close to jazz. I don't know, I haven't owned that many amps, but I outgrew this one in about a year, I'm now looking for a better one. Good for a beginner, but expect to buy again.
can saomeone please tell me if this haas clean channels as id like to put a digitech hendrix pedal through it. this would be no good if all the channels are already distorted
@annabatarowicz every guitar amplifiers have the possibility to produce clean sound, I tried the head version and it produce better clean sound in my opinion. If you listen in the video he show some good clean sound between 3:15 and 4:25
@annabatarowicz there are clean channels, they're the first couple presets, and they sound really clear and i've heard this with pedals, its probly the best full dsp amp to pair with pedals
this is a very good demo, thanks, i had the opportunity to try out and buy, this is a great amp for all those considering to buy an inexpensive but high quality with lots of effects, no need for pedals, and you get the tone you want to start playing your music right of way, great for rythm sounds and excellent for leads
dude...thanks for convincing me to take a look at this amp. I'm over fuckin joyed at what Fender came up with here. Truly great tones affordable to any guitarist.
@SMDpeps with line 6 you can play very well...but if yu get the volume high it will sound like shit... and with this you can play louder..and line 6 have a digital sound
Ill tell ya what, i have a line 6 spider iv 15 and its AWESOME, but this has more amp models and sounds better. so go with this fender, but if u are planning on getting an interface or something that has amp models, then just find whichever is cheaper. Im thinking of selling my line 6 amp, so if ur interested u can buy it. its practically new seeing as to how ive never taken it outside of the house. its been sitting under my table for like 3 months and has no scratches or nothing.
This is a great amp for $99.00 American! Very similar to the Fender Bullet 15 DSP series which they no longer make! In fact, I am buying the Mustang as a perfect replacement! For the price there is no other amp that gives you SO MUCH versatility. No matter what sound youre looking for, this amp has it!!! P.S there is also a built in tuner on this amp as an added bonus!
Great review man!!!I got Mustang II thanks to you.....PLEASE help me with the exact tone you use in the intro...I love the way it sounds but I cant figure out which one it is...
@metallicaxjavoxmcr For about $200.00 American, you can get the Fender Mustang "II". It has all the above with the mid control and about 7 more presets with a 12" speaker instead of the 8". Hope this helps.
@metallicaxjavoxmcr With the fender fuse you can easily choose an amp you like of the 8 there is and most of them have mid control. Then just save it on the amp :P Great amp
That's what everyone expect from a demo ; many styles of playing, revue of the main sounds, effects. Great. At 9.45 it seems to sound like Lukather's tone ; I'gonna try this amp in a shop.
what you dont get..the software coming along....you got a whole recordingstudio...mo joke ableton livr 8 live..fender fuse...onad so on....fender gives you a recording studio...
Top review dude! I understand Francesca was conversing with you earlier regarding one of these beasts. Pub Friday? Also, out of interest, can you record from the Mustang to a computer via the USB? The reason I ask is because it seems similar to the pocket pod which hits a wall at this point forcing one to use the headphone socket! Cheers dude!
thank you for your perfect review of the fender mustang 1....i got a pro reverb silverface ..but had to sell it due to...whatever.....also my gibson les paul....( was a nice combination )....i gonna go for a starter pack....squire fender hss bullet..with the mustang 1.....by the way....nice playing.....
good sound! I'm gonna try it :)

@SlaytanicSteven I think the footswitch for Mustang I and II are optional. You have to buy it for like 20 bucks.
