Jack Bruce is corny. Can't stand to look at the clown. I heard Ginger say that that cad got a hell of lot more money out of Cream than either he or Eric Clapton.... the two greats of this band. Bruce is mere filler... too bad. Could have been a perfect, instead of very good band.

They weren't going to completely copy each other because they went in their own directions and probably weren't interested in doing that. Maybe they wanted to keep lesser guitarists from copying but its not like anyone could go on youtube in the sixties and see this.
Cream aren't Clapton. Cream are Bruce, Baker AND Clapton. Stop the moaning. Plus it's not that during the solo Baker and Bruce weren't kicking ass. I'm much more interested in seeing the rhythm section cooking, there's a lot more of Clapton footage around.

The cameraman was Jack's wife. That where all that camera holding, weird transitions, closeups and that kind of weird things women can do is going from.
they are all soloing... what your seeing is a freeform improvisation by all three players at once unlike most songs in which only the guitar player is doing something new for the solo, here they all are. I would like to have seen some more of Eric too, but fortunately i'm perfectly happy watching the genius of Jack and Ginger at work as well!

There is a shitload of Videos of Eric Clapton soloing everywhere, Guitar is so overated, Try to aprecciate some bass for once. Plus there ain't that much footage focusing on jack bruce playing anywhere, and that same goes for other videos and bands, And the camera man did a decent job trying to capture everything at once.

At that time Clapton was insecure about people stealing his guitar style especially around the time when Hendrix came out. That's still with me to this very day . . . Although I've added to it & changed it quite a bit along the way . . .
