Check out Tree63 or O.C. Supertones, because on average most Christian music is equal or better than most contemporary, speaking particularly in terms of staging, fluidity, and hooks. In my experience anyway.

Also, don't forget that a lot of bands like Switchfoot and Relient K that are very popular are actually Christian-- they just don't do hymm-styled music, but prefer to draw indirectly on simple reason.
