I've had a personal revelation and after reading the bible afterward on verses that I didn't understand before I believe that the bible teaches about soul sleep. Either way soul sleep is just a transition phase because in the end we all would be judged. It doesn't change anything about Hell and heaven.

The God we believe has existed with the Israelites back around 6000 years ago, even before the Incas and Aztecs. Our God was there, they just didn't know about Him. But God will judge them according to the light they have received.

Again, religion serves a purpose in every society. Mainly persuasion. And all of them try to explain where we come from and what we are. Many explanations for something so complex or in fact something very simple. "We" exist--- our mind makes good or evil as you want to see it. So, live life with no regrets and you will be happy.
Simple energy forms explain what we are. We're in simply energies... And energy we become after we cease to exist as human beings. The energy continues flowing, it may serve another purpose in nature.
We're not just energy, we can't be, There is too much involved in our existence, to label what we are as nothing more than an energy force is practically foolishness. Love, hate, kindness, mercy, pain and forgiveness, mere energy forms cannot experience such characteristic aspects. When we truly realize what we are and what we were made for it becomes clear that there is a fundamentally planned reason for our existence. We were fearfully and wonderfully made by a loving Creator God.
For thousands of years Mankind has interpreted nature/paranormal/etc as divine. That's one of many explanations, mainly used to invoke/persuade those thousands of believers to conform with limited information. Mainly to the benefit of the "rulers".
Nothing is wrong about you believing in god nor is something wrong about me not professing the same as you. It's in fact very simple... The same thing I said before, every possible belief is within us, we make up things we believe in. Again, it all depends on you---therefore you're god and sometimes evil.
But you can't know that for sure, let's say you know 50% of everything there is to know in our existence, what if God existed in the other 50% that you don't know? There would be a risk wouldn't you say? Why take the risk?
This is pure assumption over assumption. Remember that books, bibbles, etc are written by men and therefore carry errors. No god exists, "WE" exist. We're the good or bad as we may choose.

Wow, this is incredible, and very revealing. This explains so much about the supernatural and spiritual world, it's mind-boggling. My eyes have been opened, in a way, both heaven and hell are on Earth. There is great good and great evil in this world. I've never been so moved. It makes me relealizes there's so much more to our world and universe. I'm a young new Christian and I never knew Christianity went this deep, and yet I've only scratched the surface of it. Hi I'm Catholic too but I've found my fellow Catholics to refuse the notion of soul sleep. I've had a personal revelation and after reading the bible afterward on verses that I didn't understand before I believe that the bible teaches about soul sleep. Either way soul sleep is just a transition phase because in the end we all would be judged. It doesn't change anything about Hell and heaven.
