I think what's really impressive is that she can still do this stuff, cause wasn't she 20 in the Beiging olympics? Seems like alot of times, once they get to be that age, some stuff's just not possible anymore

I wonder if with her injury and training she will be able to do her upgrades on vault? Because I know when London comes the vaulters are going to bring it, and if she does these I dont think she will challenge for gold. Especially with healthy russians, and upgrading their form, if they did that here, they would have won... So I wonder if the injury has her front double etc out of the picture now?

I'm happy for Alicia. She's stuck with gymnastics through good times as well as bad times.

My only thing is that I miss the days when gymnasts had to stick their vaults. I know things have changed, but really??? She didn't stick either vault, but because of the high start value she wins the gold????

@Zagarspupil Well they still take points off for not sticking the vault, it's not ik they completly ignore whether they sick it or not, but Alicia still performed it well enough to win the gold over the other gymnasts. Simple as that.
