Superb video. Thanks for posting this. Hick Tower is literally two miles from the neighborhood in East Chicago where I grew up. The sound of those trains will always be with me.
For those who asked, the drawbridges span the Indiana Harbor Ship Canal.

They arn't bothering anything so they will be left like this forever. All the track leading up to the bridges is long gone.

I guess they don't call this area the "Rust Belt" for nothing. I believe this is just before you get to Chicago Union Station. Correct me if I'm wrong.

The train with UP power is my favorite for its unusual lashup.
1st, UP 3997's nose herald is much lower that usual.
2nd, that's an interesting elephant lashup she's leading, with sister SD70M # 4332 and long-hood-forward GP38-2 NS #5227.
3rd, each unit's road number has a multiple of 11 for the middle digits!

The reason why UP 3997 has it nose herald is because it's an Ex-SP SD70M

I suspect it might be a canal.
It couldn't be the Illinois river, as this tower is in
East Chicago, Indiana.
